Taufik is Singapore Idol!!

Hehe.. even as i'm writing here, the Singapore Idol frenzy has more-or-less died down. Yesterday's show-down between Taufik Batisah and Sylvester 'Sly-Beng-rocker' Sim resulted in the former emerging as the 1st ever Singapore Idol. How many votes did he got, to win over Sly, we don't know. But we all know for sure that both of them, their futures look bright and cheery. esp for Sly. He's going into mandopop. Whereas Taufik will be busied with launching his debut album that is up coming in a few weeks time, probably before Christmas.

Today's Newpaper wrote that the World Idol is going to be more-or-less called off. It's a disappointment for Taufik though, as he would not be able to represent Singapore, show the world what talents from small, puny, tiny island of Singapore would have haha.

Buying presents

Today, i strutted down Orchard Road like a suaku, dunno where i was supposed to go.... I walked alone, forlorn and lonely. Dunno where to go.. Even went to the far end of orchard, ending up at forum instead of far east plaza. But thanks be to God.. at least i found the place eventually.

But i guess it's a wasted trip, as i found what i want for Weiying, which is not from there. But it's real stylo-milo.
