Just on Thursday morning, I saw something that is quite disturbing… As I was walking towards the kopitiam downstairs, *shock* I saw something lying on the floor.. At first instinct, I thought a cat was sleeping there. At closer look, *pengz* I saw a shih-tzu [a dog] lying there in facing-sky position. It was moving very feebly with its paws. And its eyes were open…
My first thought: Wha, how come got shih tzu sleeping there??
My second thought: has it fallen from one of the flats??
My third thought: is it…. Dying??
Ah?? If the dog REALLY fell from the flats above ah… then better don’t move it, because I may cause it to die immediately; it might have broken bones. Also, I noticed that the paws are.. kinda rotting.
Somemore, when I was staring at the dog, ppl just walk by. What’s their problem sia? Cannot be concerned with a stray meh?? Anyway, I prayed and hope that it’s ok…

While eating, I felt very sorry for the doggie, and had the urge to go back to see if the dog was still around… So I finished my breakfast quickly [in 10 min] and went back. And lo and behold? How come the dog is still there??? And its eyes are still open, and there are a few flies surrounding it. Argh!??! The dog is dead.
I was rather worried, seeing that the doggie died leh… so I got my daddy to come down, and see what can be done. Strangely when my daddy come down to see the dog, there are many aunties that gathered around the dog. Sadly, the dog died lah.
At that point in time I was really angry leh.. U know what? The dog fell from a 5th storey flat which is directly above where the doggie had landed, because one of the Indian cleaners saw the dog leaping out of the window. Papa went to the flat to inform the owner, but guess what? The owner’s not home!! What’s this man?? Go out must close the grill mah. See lah, a precious life is gone!! =’(
I was so pissed at this that I wanted to make a police report… What if the shih-tzu was pushed out of the window?? What if…. What if…..
Anyway, what’s surprising is that the owner had 2 dogs, and no other neighbors had seen the dead shih-tzu before. The saddest part is that the Shih-Tzu looked less than a year old.. very small size.
Main thing is: The owner was negligent – why? – because he goes out of the house, no one is in, for GOODNESS SAKE, CLOSE THE GRILL LAH!! If he closed it before he left the house, I think the shih-tzu will still be alive, given a chance to grow up, and enjoy the love of his owner.
Rest in peace, shih-tzu, at the rainbow bridge
*Ps, Remember, if a pet is deliberately thrown down, that it dies, SPCA will come after you. It’s a police case. Love your pets, not just when they are young. Their lives are in your hands!!
Now when I come home or when i wake up in the mornings, I’ll hug my doggies, Furby and Jerby, and I tell them : “Jie jie loves you” Muack!!!

Do you really think that the Shih Tsu had fell out of the window on its own? How did it manage to climb that high in the first place. Just look at Furby, do you think he can jump that high?
You should have called the SPCA for them to conduct a investigation. What happen to the dog's corpse after that?
