Today in the morning, was totally excited for work.. in a new place. But was really p***ed with Ber**** for giving me all the wrong directions for going to the place… The place is called Number One Mar**a Boulevard! First Ber**** told me it’s at Exit D at R*****s Mrt. But thank God somehow I don’t trust her. Because she kept pausing during the conversation to ask around how to go to that place!
So I have to help myself. So I went to the station control and realized that it’s Exit F! Not D! So happily I walked together with the big crowd of people walking towards Exit F. It feels like a BIG group of gangsters going to fight like that… Lol…. But I felt proud, because it made me feel that I should be proud of working in the CBD area.
So I got out at Fin***son Green, and was really p***ed because I did not know where it was. And Ber**** wasn’t of any help at all!! Intuitively I saw a building, with an NTUC logo on top of it. A hunch told me that it should be that building. But I wasn’t sure, so I called Ber****. I was literally shouting into the phone, somemore in the rain! So when I finally told her I was facing the NTUC building, she exclaimed : “that’s the building lor!” Wha. So p***ed with her! I told her, “next time, can you give proper directions!? Thanks!”
Anyway, the place was very big. My position for 3 days is to be a customer support executive. From 915am – 11am, I was literally doing nothing. Until slightly before lunch, that C, the lady I’m supposed to help, asked me to file things for her…And it was really a big stack! Lol…. So was happily stacking.. beyond the lunch time..break for lunch… after lunch.. I filed until it was about 4pm. And I think I nearly became cross-eyed, from all the filing. Try filing non-stop for 5 hours!
But I told God, though I’m only there for 3 days, but I want to bear a good testimony for God, and to be excellent in whatever that I’m assigned to do. I think I did well today. Tml must gambatte somemore!! Yeah… must wake up at 7am!
Update on the merger with Curtin and Murdoch
Ok, I mentioned in the last few months that my alma mater, Curtin Uni is thinking of merging with Murdoch Uni. Apparently I don’t agree with that and is not supportive of it. Because I think the 2 universities should continue to stand on their own. Of course, after graduation, I kinda forgot about the proposed merger… Until I retrieved my email…

MERGER BETWEEN CURTIN AND MURDOCH NOT TO GO AHEAD
On close reading of the email, it said that the cost of the risk would be high if the 2 universities were to merge together and operate as one, not to mention the restructuring of the staff, schools of various subjects…. So they decided not to go ahead. This is what I have summarized regarding the email. =)
