Opening Meeting at Singapore Expo

Wednesday we went for Prayer meeting at Singapore Expo. I feel quite excited, because it’s my first time there in the hall. And one thing I can say is that the hall is Humongous!!! It’s really very big with arena and terrace. And we prayed and laid hands on the seats… Prayed over the place, the House of God, for us, in the next 3 years.

Despite the fact that it is really far in the eastern part of Singapore, but as compared to Jurong West Street 91, it’s more convenient. Because after we step out of Expo Mrt Station, we’ll just walk straight into Foyer 2 of Singapore, past the walkway into the Max Pavilion, and yeah, we will have reached. =)

Job-hunting update

During the prayer meeting, Abba Father spoke to me.. He gave me direction as to what to pray, who to pray for… And He told me this : “Jen, if u serve in My house, I will build your career”. Then, Pastor Kong was confirming the word. It was really good.

After I got back home, I started to pray, and I prayed for Abba Father’s direction over my life. I prayed in tongues for some time… no reply. Was a bit discouraged. Then I felt that He’s saying to me that I can have assurance in Him. And I teared….

And I said to Him :

“Dear Daddy God, I know You are Jehovah Jireh. I know that I can have assurance in You. I’m not going to worry, because in You i do not need to worry."

So I decided that yesterday (Thursday 8th December) that I’ll not worry about the job, and not call any agency. The whole day, I was at home, reading the bible [though I’m like 16 books away, but I managed to finish Daniel, Psalms and Hosea yesterday, progressively] and also playing with my guitar using my new metronome tuner. It looks like this

This metronome/ guitar tuner cost me $28.50, thanks to the nice people at Davis’ who gave me a 10% discount. Been trying to practice using the metronome. Besides, I need to change my tuner which has been with me for a grand 7 years! So, going from glory to glory… From Yamaha classical guitar, I changed it to a Fina 3150 Acoustic guitar. From some dunno-what brand of cheapo looking tuner, to this dual function tuner. Yeah! =) See, i take pride in it. Today I didn’t call up any agency, but I remembered about my Assurance in God, as I serve HIS house! So at 2pm, I got a call from J**S****T Select, which is a marketing arm of this company [rather, a job website, very famous one. u will know which company I’m talking about] Anyway, the lady called me, and I’m going for interview next Monday for position of Recruitment Consultant!!! Yeah!!!! If this is His will for me, I believe I will get it. I wanna work in the marketplace [Shenton? CBD?] to be in the marketplace, for the marketplace, to penetrate the marketplace, for my Abba Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.
