My 2nd week at work, shining for Jesus =)

Hi everyone!!

Now I’m in the midst of my 2nd week at work. It was really good so far, though on Monday I was feeling a bit discouraged though. Because I think I got blur, and though I made so many calls, but there was not many job openings. And what was worse is that when I have orders, I couldn’t find the suitable candidates! I was pretty discouraged… because I really wanna meet my clients’ needs. That’s not even considering the sales target I have to meet…

I prayed and asked God to help me in my work [I remembered about what Dr Joyce Meyers said during the service on Sunday…. We can ask God to bless us in our career]. Guess what? This morning, out of the blue, I had a company calling us to ask us to help in their job search. So I happened to take the calls. And started to liaise with the person. I’ve started job search for this position and is very excited about it. Then in the afternoon, I got a surprise call from one of the companies that I have cold-called last week. The person asked me to help to source for a position. What I can say is: Praise the Lord! I mean, I don’t need to go around calling for assignment – these 2 orders practically dropped from the sky! Hallelujah!!!

My first interview

Today is the first time I’m conducting interview, for a position in Jurong. I think I did ok…. Though I thought that I wasn’t so professional in carrying out the interview, but thankfully my candidate was quite ok about it. Though eventually the interview with my client fell through because my candidate stumbled in doing stenography [it's a pretty specialized word for shorthand], but I’m going to keep on praying, believing for good candidates to email me.

Tml I’m going to interview another person. It’s part-and-parcel of my job, but I like it because I get to meet people. =)

New things again!

Hehe… today I bought new things again… u know ah, working in Bugis Village, is really quite a torture on my pockets. Because after work, I can’t resist the temptation to go shopping… Remember a few entries away, I bought 2 pairs of earring for $5?? I went back to the same shop, and now they are selling 1 pair for $2!!!! Argh!!! Grab! Grab!! This is how it looks like

It has a bronzy look [duh, it’s the color of bronze]

Been wanting to buy new shoes, because my black formal shoes from N*da has caused me many frustrations because I often slip in them. If I don’t change them soon, I’ll might just slip and fell…. So far it has been nearly, but I’m not prepared to let it happen. So I also shopped around Bugis, but I didn’t get anything.

Sometimes when you can’t find things that you like, try your trusty neighborhood shop. I eventually got this pair of shoes from Clementi Central.

Isn’t it nice? I have been bio-ing the shoes for some time, but when I entered the store, this shoes caught my eye. But I was really looking here and there to find a better one. Eventually, I bought this pair. Fyi, it cost $25.90. It looks very formal and stylish, though the price doesn't really match to it, but that's the whole point mah!!! =)

Sometimes, it’s very amazing to find that when you are shopping for something, and you see something that caught ur eye, that it is really ‘the’ thing you are looking for? Interesting!!!

I hasn’t really been blogging much, but there’s a lot more things to share when I blog once a while. Just like what my eichien says, when I don’t blog, I don’t blog for like eons. But when I blog, the entry is super long. =)
