It was a tiring day of shopping for my bag. Though i was already settling for the Outfitters bag, but i walked around, awaiting for dinner. Then i got the bag and was ready to go home. With grams on hand, on the bus number 14, i was reading my 8 days and munching on the nuts.
Phone call #1 was from Karen. She asked me to run an errand. It was peaceful after that. I was on bus number 282. Just when the bus was on the Clementi Flyover, i got phone call #2. It was Sabrina. Oh my. She sounded a bit distressed. My first thought was : "What happened? Is it Weiying??" I conversed my thought to her, and she told me it's not her. So i was kinda relieved for a while... and the conversation continues...
Sabrina: "It's Rongsheng."
Me: What happened to RS?
Sab: He was jogging at night, he was hit by a car and he died.
Silence...

Me: I'm sorry?! What do u mean?
Sabrina: He passed away.
more silence.
Me: (silence) + (silence)... Huh!?

I started to gather the names of those who i think he knew, and our ex members since Fongloo's time... Minghui, April... Youko etc.
Even as i was calling the people, i was asking myself if this is really real?!

This morning, i flipped the Chinese Papers. I saw on one of the headlines. That was RS. It was a HIT-AND-RUN! He had injuries to the chest. And there was a fracture on him. And the nerve of that stupid driver!! How dare he just drive off like that! How dare he!!! He/she didn't even get off the car to see how he was.
He's a person who's very amicable, someone who's always caring. A wonderful friend. He has so much to live for, and he's gone, because of a careless, and heck-care driver. May he be caught soon. Also, may your conscience prick you, that you will come forward and surrender yourself.
