Yesterday, i was talking to Karen online, so i was telling her that i didn't want to leave the company, but if have to, i have to plan out my career path (applications). Anyway, there's no news from any co's.
Today, the CG message is really a word in season.
The bitter pool of Marah
Moses Led the children of Israel out of Egypt, bringing them through victory at the Red Sea, to reach Marah. The children of Israel forgot about what Moses had done at the Red Sea, and complained at the Pool of Marah, because the water was too bitter to be drunk.
Exodus 15:22-27 gives us 3 facts of life
#1) Great successes in life are often followed by Failures
Look at Elijah. He managed to command rain, and later, he ran away from Jezebel... and wanted to die, because he felt so discourage.
But then, God allows us into our 'Marah' period to test us, because our characters are tested in our daily irritations.
#2) Great services in life are often followed by Forgetfulness
Sometimes, when people forget, we do not curse it, we do not rehearse it, we do not nurse it, but we disperse it and let God reverse the hurt.
#3) Great shortage in life is often followed by Fullness
Did you know: The distance between Marah and Elim, is a mere 8km away???
Wha!! Imagine giving up a short distance before Elim. So wasted leh.
Too often, we give up too soon....
This reminds me about my job. I'm contemplating, yet reluctant, because i know that God has been prompting my heart to continue in this line. This line of work is by His Rhema.
Even before we started to worship again, Tears flowed down like a tap. I know that God is confirming His prompting on my heart. To trust God and to continue on. I know that i'm very very tired. But i know that this word is for me; my breakthrough is going to come. My Elim is round the corner. Yes! I'll keep on moving, and keep on trusting God. =)
God!! Give me more sales!!! =) Amen!
Oh.... and Missions Trip coming up. 28 Aug - 1 Sep. I've signed up to go for the KL mission trip. Hearing Karen, Christal, Brandon, Geri.. their testimonies on the Taiwan Emerge, made me more determined that i want to go for Mission Trip. And yes! I'm going to go. I think it's going to be the Emerge Conference too. I'm going there to be a light that shines!! Can't wait for August to come....
