Office Happenings.

This week has been a good week so far. And there are weird and funny incidents in the office.

Fantastic Orders =)
Entering the office, open my email, i got only 4 emails!? Haiz... so disappointing. But i have a reason to smile, because i got new orders. Got 5 new positions to work on. Hahaha. One is a regional brand manager, customer service position, store positions.....

Jac recommended her company to me, as they need people. One more order!

And then, my client who called to check the payroll with me, gave me a new order.

Praise God!!!

Weirdo candidate
I have a store position in the East side. So was looking through resumes, and calling up people. SO i came across this candidate who's like 24 years old. Thought that he sounded quite reserved, not really like Weird, you know..

So i called this person to come down. First impression kills everything. I thought he got a weird contenance. Amy was at the receptionist, and she came into my work area with the person's resume, and commented this : " Hey, this your candidate ah? He looks like someone that is siao one."

Well, i reserve my comments, as i didn't want to like judge according to looks, but i guess even Amy feels it this way, i felt a bit scared, about interviewing this person... *eeeeeek!

Well, as there are 2 interview rooms, i used the one that is nearer to the consultants' work area, making sure that he sits at the entrance way. I was really shivering on the inside, because he really gave me a feeling that he's like a pervert. The way he stare, and i mean STARE! Very scary!!! I quickly asked the questions, and then get him out of the office pronto! I think that's the shortest interview i've ever conducted.

I never sent his resume to my client. Thank God for wisdom. Imagine sending him down to my client..... My client will sure diao2 me for sending someone like that.

Funny name
It was an incident that happened yesterday.

There was a candidate who called in, but dunno who called her. And the conversation goes like this:

Me: Good afternoon, MP

Caller: Hi! May i know who called me?

Me: Can i have your name please?

Caller: my name is Bo Ling.

-usually i will hold the line and shout out-

Me: Anyone called Bo-ling? Si Mi Lang called this candidate?

*Ivan who's having a lame moment replied*

Ivan: My name is Billard. *Well.... he thought the caller was Bowling*

(-_-)'''' Can't stop laughing.... And was still finding this statement funny. After a while, i tried to reply to the caller.

Me: Hi Bo-Ling *umchio* i think the consultant is not around at the moment. Maybe he/she will call u back later.

Bible study today
Today i went for the first lesson of the Gifts of The Holy Spirit.

If u are reading this and not attending any bible study, U MUST GO AH!!! It's life changing!

Today Pst Aries shared that the Holy Spirit is a person. Many a times, we pray to God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), but rarely the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, and when we make the Holy Spirit the Lord in our lives, we make Jesus the Lord of our lives!

This is a real impacting sermon that i'm hearing. Excited for next bible study session, next wednesday.

Counting Down: 12 days to KL
12 More days to KL mission trip. Can't wait for it to come soon. But with one whole week away, i know that i have to chiong my sales for this week and next week. Have to work on saturday this week......

I look forward to following Monday. Hahahaha..... Need to pray for more sales to come.
