To Educate, Encourage and to EMPOWER

It was a real life-changing weekend with Dr A.R. Bernard last week from 18-20 August.

The first night
Dr A.R Bernard share about having knowledge is power which is authority!

How are we empowered? We must be specific. Why? Because specificivity leads to corporation. To be able to change our world (Kosmos) we need to have have knowledge, so that we can change the social order in our Kosmos (namely politics, education, econimics, church, family, arts and entertainment) bringing down the future (vision) into the present.

Being a Symbiosis (living together in close association of 2 different entities) where we are in the world BUT not of the world. We are in the culture that we are in, but not of that culture that we seek to impact.

The 2nd night.

One word sums it up : KRISTOS KAI KOSMOS (Christ in the culture)

Jesus came as the word in flesh, to come and re-order the social order in our culture, bringing forth the divine order, which will lead us to freedom.

Finale

God works in a pattern, and when we follow His pattern, it will lead to success.

Dr A.R. Bernard brought to life Romans 12:2

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

First, there must be new information (knowledge) that comes to us, and it enters our mind. There, it shapes our beliefs, and strengthens our self-esteem. Then there will be an action that we will carry out, which yields results. This leads to a habit that either bring us to success or failure.

Therefore, we must renew our mind, even as we take in new information. How? We change the way we process the new information that we have, and change the way we think.

In conclusion: we need to have knowledge that changes our mind and lives, so that we are able to impact the culture that we are in, to bring forth change.
