It's been about 1 week since i've last blogged.
I started in my new job at E9, and it's a real cool place. Everyone is so friendly. And the systems are real cool. They work just like Chorus Board!! Maximizing usage of MSN and other things, it's really very friendly to me too.
The only thing is this : the person that i'm replacing is on his last day on my first day. So everything being rushed out. And.... I'm not like totally ready. I just kept scribbing and scribbing on my note pad, taking mental notes. I mean the hand-over is quite ok, just felt that it's not totally complete.
Friday i stepped into the office, and i'm kinda lost, not knowing what to do. And i know, leave form to chase, paper need to order. But well, MD's pretty busy, need to confirm things, such as hotel and many other stuff... recruitment.... Right now they are on hold though, because i feel that i need to talk to MD first, before doing anything. But i did something though : ordered paper, since all of us are in our last realm. How can office have no paper right?
I want to be a good testimony. Pst shared in his message as to how we can discover our purpose while working in the secular world, NOT IN THE 4 WALLS OF THE CHURCH. So, what i aim to do: i start work at 9am, but my personal starting time is 8.45am. So, i will need to leave house at 8am, grab breakfast on the way, or eat before 8am.... take train to Raffles, walk to office.
I have been reaching office around 8.45-8.55am. So, a great start to the day!!! =)

We are into building lives, not just buildings.
Participating in the past Building Fund campaigns since 1998, i have not looked back since. As a youth, i didn't get to give a lot. As an adult, i gave a bit more. This season, i'm in the midst of lack, but i thank God for the job that is has come. And believing for more finances to come in. I mean, i have at least $400 in fixed expenses (insurance, gym....) every month. I seriously need to think on how i can generate more finances, so that i can give my desired amount to the building fund.
I know that i can never out-give God. I mean, He's blessed me with a better paying job, and i know that in the secular world, i need to work harder even more. Need the favor of God, and the favor of men.
