Hi everybody!!!

Welcome to the latest edition of Jenna's bank of thoughts.

Haha.... I'm just in a nacissistic mood right now, so decide to post my latest picture..... wait a minute. Actually, this is not my latest picture. Hmmm..... rather it was taken last friday, if i didn't remember wrongly. But it's nice huh?! Yeah. I'm pretty surprised that it looked like this.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not looking down on myself, by saying that i look ugly in real life. Nope. Never in a chance that yours truly has ever used photoshop. Well...... if i know how to use, i'll definitely make myself look slimmer and proportionate eyes definitely [in many entries ago, i realized that i have big-small eyes.... grrrllll] and the hateful freckles that i have! How i wish i look nice as this picture in the natural. But i guess i can look this nice, is because i learnt to tilt the angles on my camera phone (a VGA O2 phone ok) I learnt this when i went to take my graduation photos last year. That makes the difference.

Things that happened, anywhere...

1) GST Hike to 7%

PM Lee Hsien Loong dropped a bombshell on this peaceful monday at parliament about increasing our current 5% to 7%. He said that the extra will allow the government to provide more for the lower income families.

Had a conversation with finance, who told me how they got the GST..... The GST only come from retailers. And for organizations who are GST registered, only the GST flow through the company to other companies, which the GST is being paid to/from the GST department. So the only way is through retailers. I guess they overlooked that the lower income families earn money to pay for necessities which comes from .......

Everyone that i know is unhappily commenting about this topic. Guess no one looks forward to the change. Neither do i.

2) Mistaken identity of Mongolian Model

This news is kinda none-of-our-business, but since it's such a big news, can't really miss it. Some more it's a sala picture from the start. This mongolian model was in M'sia to confront her 'lover' who was an Analyst. This model reportedly got shot to death and got her body blown up with explosives. Eeeeeek! A sad way to die. But, the thing, when the newspapers reported about the gal, they put 'mongolian-esq' models, and ALLLLL the while, they published the wrong pictures!!! The people in these pictures are still alive and kicking!! Goodness!!

3) M.D. in KL

2 to 3 posts ago, i talked about HSBC Bank issue. And Earl's in KL to settle this issue, as well as to settle our recruitment for our positions there. The latest news is that, one of the candidates that i've previous recommended, is the chosen one!! Wow. It's pretty exciting. Yah, he's there on a mission to do various things, which also include the lease over in KL. It's quite exciting to do booking of Hotel over there. Because i ran into some sudden issues over there, which i've never experienced before. Thankfully, somehow i just knew what i can do, to solve this. And it's been resolved!!! Thank God.

Oh, before i go on, Happy Birthday Earl!!!!!!!! =) His birthday falls on this weekend.

4) Data Entry Telemarketer news

Yes!! Finally getting somewhere with getting this position. Went to suggest to Mktg, and they approved. Got Elvin to gimme people, so tml gonna interview one person. Really thankful that i can help the Mktg to get somewhere..... More problem solving on the way!!!!

5) My way of saving money

I remembered in the last building fund the previous year, i had a way in which to save money. Which is to cook dinner and then after a tuition session, i'll find a place to eat the food, though cold. But it's a memorable way for me to save money.

So in this season of A&B i am doing the same; the only difference is that it's lunch, and i have to wait up earlier to prepare that.

My menu consist of rice with:

-Fish cake

-Crab meat sticks

-Canned peanuts

-Pickled lettuce (yum....a great congee condiment!!)

-3 colors (corn, carrot and pea, my favorite too)

-[list to add on]

Not all will go into the container. And btw, i trust brands, so i use Lock-and-Lock! I can mix a few different ones in one meal. And looking for more things to put into my lunch box. Yeah, a way to motivate me to cook more.

Sometimes i mix them together with Pepper sauce, so that it'll quite a different one. This is the authentic mix rice ok!! Here's my lunch for today.

Ok, let me introduce the ingredients in today's lunch. You see the fish cake, and urgh.... overly too much carrots (3 colors ensemble), and pickled lettuce, and 2 crab sticks. See. Got veg and meat, it's quite a nutritious meal, just that's it's pretty cold. Wish we had a oven there to make my food warm.

6) Earth9 Blog
Our company has a blog which can be accessed at www.earth9.com/blog . There are actually 2 people who will blog. Jo usually is more informational. Art's posts seems to be quite witty with topics such as Peeing! Yes, the toilet business... Haha, i guess i quite enjoy that. Though it's pretty Technical for some posts, and i don't understand, but i quite like the way he writes..... Sometimes a bit crappy. But of course, it can't beat this in terms of crappiness. :)

I'm looking forward to saving money, in this way after the building fund. I wanna save money, to get a better phone, or to put it to future use.

Till the next update, Bye!!!!
