Birthday wish list 2007

Before i go on to list down my desires for this year, i want to share on something.

i've just came back from Prayer Meeting. Though i really felt half dead by half time, but it was a good meeting. We prayed, for a new land that is going to come. And yea, though we will be at Singapore Expo for another 4 years, but truely we are believing corporately for a 8,000 seater hall, but we are taking our time la.

The highlight on what i was to share in this section is on the message that Pastor Joshua Hong shared on today.

Zechariah 4:6-7 (NLT)

"Then he said to me,"This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies. Nothing, not even a mighty mountain, will stand in Zerubbabel's way; it will become a level plain before him..."

Pst really preached with all that he had, though his English at times took me quite a while to understand, but it was a good message. The message says that we do not worry bout the 'mighty mountains' that we are facing.

Pst phrase it this way:

Not even a mighty mountain (whatever problems it is), will stand in MY (meaning you, or me, or someone) way; it will become a level plain before him.

Now at work, there are a few HUMAN mountains that i need to see it to come to level. Be it hires in Singapore or in Malaysia, No matter how big these mountains are, as i trust God for the works, these 'mighty mountains' will become a level plain (overcoming!!! Hires are coming in!!!)

Amen! Let it be done according to Your will. =)

Birthday wishlist

Yeah, my birthday is coming by... Unknowningly this day crept in suddenly, and got nearer and nearer. Come to think of it, it's next Sunday! Hehe... Anyway, that special day, i'm going to serve the Lord in the ministry. And that day happens to be Bible School Graduation. It's quite an interesting experience, i believe.

I've been desiring for certain things, and yeah, verbally i am entitled to receive it. But think if i were to list it down, it will help me to guage myself and to know my expectation. So, if u want to give me a gift, u can choose from the list below. If u feel led to give, i feel led to receive =)

Things that i want to achieve

1. Lose weight (working on it since my eh-hem.. early 20's)
2. Career advancement (currently things are looking good)
3. Financial stability (on the way there, with the point above and have some passive income, i think i'll be quite on the way there
4. Good relationship (whatever it is...)

Things that i wish that i can receive

1. Dell 1420 Laptop in Flamingo Pink with the 2mp webcam (Going to buy it next month!! Papa's paying for it with broadband coming. Can't wait for it to come)
2. Vouchers from Skinfood (i love Skinfood masks, cosmetics etc)
3. California Gym membership (no limitation)
4. Shoes and clothings (not a very good choice for a gift though, vouchers are fine)
5. Accessories (i'm quite crazy about earrings, but quite interested in bangles, necklaces, rings etc)
6. Christian Books , and non-christian literature (Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows will be a blast) or a year's subscription of 8-days (haha.. but seriously)
7. Mission Trips
8. Holiday trips (somewhere near... Cruise is fine too =D)

Seems that there are a lot of wants on my side huh? You think it's easy to list it down? No lor! I took half an hour to come up with 9 items. Anyway, this is a wish list la, so even if it doesn't come to pass, it's ok, because all of the items, are within my reach, if i save harder enough =)

There's only one thing that i don't wish i'll receive this year....BAGS! I have like 4 bags since the beginning of the year. I don't have space for another bag. Hahaha.
