The 5cents psychology test - Interesting find

Before i go on, i would like to say that today's prayer meeting was AWESOME!! Can't wait to finish my entry, bathe and go to sleep and wake up at 4.45am and journey to Kreta Ayer tomorrow.

Yesterday, to prepare to go for prayer meeting at Kreta Ayer today, i sms-ed 4 people, whom i'll call 甲，已，丙 and 丁. I asked them if they are going for prayer meeting at Kreta Ayer, since they seem to be staying near to that area, or they work near to Chinatown. I sms-ed them about 3pm before i left the house for tuition at Jurong West.

Almost immediately, 丁replied to say that she is not going and will be going for another prayer meeting. In the evening, 丙 replied my sms to apologize for not replying immediately and said that she would not be going today. 甲 and 已 had no response, at all.

Thankfully i found a cg kaki who met with me to go together for the prayer meeting, which was a great time of seeking God, and praying and reading the bible.

After the prayer meeting, our cg members gathered and there i saw 甲 and 已. But somehow, i felt angry with them; eating breakfast with them was sheer torture, as i was still seeting at how unapologetic they are, or whether if they felt that something was wrong. (Notice i wrote felt, which means i feel nothing now ). My heart was saying : "Why didn't they reply my sms?" Or maybe it was because of this chinese sms i got from my fren, which the most relevant points i will reveal.

。。。。发个短信很难吗？。。。 发个短讯会穷吗？浪费你的一分钟会死吗？。。。

。。。发一个短讯你会少跟头发吗？。。。花五分钱回我的短讯很辛苦吗？？？

Now, if u are non-chinese, i shall do the courtesy to interpret what the words mean:

.... is it so hard to return an sms..... will it make u poor to revert an sms? Will it kill u to waste one minute to reply an sms?

... will u lose a strand of hair if u reply an sms? .... is it so difficult for you to spend 5 cents just to revert an sms???

For me, i sent out the smses as i thought that maybe i can help to meet with those who are coming from the west, we can take the train together and meet up, motivate and encourage one another to wake up early to come together to seek the face of God. And this is what i got?! =(

If 甲 and 已 replied even a single word such as "yes", or "no", i think at least they are being courteous about it. But no sms, no nothing.

This allowed me to come to the conclusion that:
a) I'm not close to them and vice versa; they are NOT OBLIGATED to reply me.
b) I refuse to spend any more 5 cents to sms them if they are not going to reply me. If they sms me, i will still reply them.
c) I finally understand how my Cousin felt ...

Was relating this to a fren, who said that if this happen to her, she will definitely voice it out and make 甲 and 已 feel bad, instead of keeping it in her heart and feeling miserable like me. Haha.....

Post note: I don't care if the people in question knows that i'm talking about them. Whether if they know or not, it doesn't matter anymore.

It's kinda interesting how the act of not replying an sms can tell of how others value you. Man, i felt like i'm doing some psychological research thesis.
