The 15th Intake of City Harvest Bible Training Centre students will be graduating in a weeks' time.
And me being a part of this cohort, i must say that it's been really fast. Time is literally flying, just with the blink of an eye.
Within a span of 4.5 months, we did the following:

- Laying Foundation
- Foundation Truths 1
- Foundation Truths 2

- Homiletics (Art and Science of Preaching)
- Deliverance (By Pst Mike)
- Sermon on the Mount
- Cultural Mandate
- Rainbow Prayer (By Pst Joshua Hong)
- Theology
- Book of Romans
The books that we have read and submitted a book review:

- Surprised by the power of the Spirit
- You the Leader (Pst Phil)
- How to prepare Bible Messages
- Becoming a contagious Christian
- They shall expel demons
- Foundations of our faith
- Prayer changes nation
We prepared 10 sermons, based on our own revelations. We preached a minimum of 3 sermons for our preaching tests.
We were sent out for Missions on a 3 days 2 nights basis, to various parts of Asia, going to various cgs to preach, ministering in various places, seeing lives changed and impacted.
What can i say? 4.5 months is not long, but by the fact that we did all these, it has been a very spiritually fulfiling journey. A time of discipline. A time of waking up earlier than if you are going to work, a time where you become more hungry and want more. A time of struggling with the daily attacks by the ZZZZ monsters esp when the topic is so very dry. A time of feeling great esp when u move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to minister to one another. A time of fellowshipping with your team mates that you may have never known (Like, i won't have known Michelle, Caylin etc... if i didn't come to SOT, since they are Expo-ers).
If you were to ask me, if given the choice, will i do what i did, to come to SOT this year? My answer to you is YES. It's tiring, challenging in every aspect be it financially and physically. But SOT has opened my eyes to the word of God. I receive teachings so valuable, hear sermons that i won't get to hear in the weekend services, i learn about practical stuffs that i might not get to learn if i'm in a bible study class. If i would have known, i would have enrol much earlier! =)
What can i say? SOT is preparing me, to be equipped to be a salt and to be a light in where i am. To be a great testimony. It's not just about the head knowledge, but it's an experience of a lifetime!
I think i'll miss SOT.... miss the daily praise and worship.... miss the queuing up outside the gate at 7.50am.... miss the assignments???
Then again, we are being equipped, and the day that we graduate, we are ready to be launched out into where God has called us to be at. So, no matter how much we love the experience, we ought to move on. And knowing that this experience is definitely unforgettable, and probably won't come back.
So i'm treasuring the moment...... i got test tml and yet here i am, pouring out my thoughts. But this is important for me to give my thoughts.
Upcoming posts:
SOT Graduation and photos - meaning that this blog is gonna stale for about a week, unless i wanna blah about something. And yes, my blogging mode will switch back to full force! Woots!
