Hello again, Working world!

No long will i post job hunting updates, coz i’ve officially ended my job hunting.

Just last Thursday, i woke up way earlier than my normal working hours at 7am, to prepare for this interview. Washed up, ready myself, and off i go for interview at Jurong Port Road.

When i saw the address, i thought about the fishing port, literally.

 

Now, Jurong Fishery Port IS NOT THE SAME AS Jurong Port.

I’m not really sure if they are like neighbors or not, though.

It’s actually a rather industrial area, where it’s similar to Tuas, but not as 鸟不生蛋. At least there are 2 buses in this area. =)

I kinda like the job description, and the environment. Cause i’ll get to do more things, more different things, and it’s not a one-person-operations department. It feels to be more supported. And i remained hopeful.

On Monday, i received a call from the agency, to inform me that the company is interested in offering me. So, there’s not like a formal offer, so nothing’s confirmed then.

I was kinda expecting a call from the agency to confirm this….. Waited… Tuesday went by… This morning, I stared at my phone. There’s nothing….

Then at 1pm, the agency called to make a verbal, formal offer to me. And i verbally, formally accepted it. Even though my mother commented that the starting pay was kinda low, but considering that i’m being trained to do something that i’ve never done before,
i guess it’s fine. I’m hoping for a good pay increment upon confirmation. =D

Anyway, when I was asked when i could start work, i said anytime. And they just say “They are OK to start tomorrow!” Whoa!!! Man, is that efficient or what? Haha. I was glad to start work really soon. And i’m glad to say that i’m work-ready, and within the day, i got myself 2 new working tops!

I love being efficient!
