When i first dropped my milk tooth at a grande old age of 7, the tooth was discarded away, leaving a hole where the tooth was.
But in some parts of the world, children were told that when they drop their tooth, they should place the tooth under their pillow, and the tooth fairy will come and collect it, and money would be left in place of the tooth.
This tooth-fairy looked like she adapted her fashion sense from Never-ever land (where Peter Pan comes from).
But i guess, the monetary reward for giving the tooth away, wasn’t as enticing, but it’s about gaining something from the pain of having a hole in the mouth, as a consolation prize.
So kids! There’s nothing to lose from losing ur tooth! =)
All that bantering about the tooth, was because i watched a funny movie with the ‘Tooth Fairy’ in mind.
I watched it today, on relaxation Sunday. And it’s a feel-good movie. Not exactly slapstick funny. But what i got out of this movie is
Dreams are good.
My rating: ++++ out of 5.
The Tooth Fairy is showing in cinemas starting from 28th January 2010!
