The last day of my career as a Temp.

Today I had a light breakfast… bought Breadtalk’s wheatgrass multigrain bun. Very nice…. Hard hard one. But while at work at around 10 plus in the morning, my stomach started growling. *paiseh* But today was rather a not so happening.. It was happening for the rest of the colleagues. Car**** was busy typing away… and I was kinda stranded since 9 plus… and waiting for instruction from here. Lunch came and passed by…..Afternoon was another season of trying to look busy… lol

Until.. when the HR executive asked me for some forms…. I ended up going to the R****** E****** at the other end of Raffles Place to get it, have it filled and signed. Before I left, I had to let the Manager, W***y to sign. So she sat me down, and was finding out more about me and stuff like that. But then when I was there last Thursday and Friday, she wasn’t around. It turned out that the place where I was sitting was vacant. I kept thinking that I’m there as a replacement for a few days or something. They are actually still looking out for a permanent employee to fill the position.

It was great, though it’s a short 3 days….天下无不散之宴席…. have exchanged MSN with Car****. It’s a great way to keep in touch. Btw if u haven’t known yet, I’m a great MSN freak… Suffer great ‘withdrawal’ symptoms leh.. haha

Complaint about Super-slow Bus Service number *82

This is it fellas! I have tolerated many many many… times! I’m getting really pissed at the bus service! Ooops! Did I say bus service? One tip to find out what number I was talking about: It’s a feeder service from an interchange in the West side of the island and it passes by Ginza Plaza. Clear enough???

Alright! Let my complaints start rolling

I reached the berth of the *82 at 1930h. Read the television screen. It read that the bus will arrive at 1940h. Fair enough.. until I was standing rather far in the queue. There’s at least 15 people in front of me. Somemore it’s peak hour! Mind You!

So I was expecting like normal frequency, probably the bus will come soon, because the queue was really quite long. Then it didn’t. It didn’t take me by surprise since it’s the first time. [I was already super pissed like n times ago…] And when It finally came at 1942h, it came in the form of a ! single deck! =@

Peak Hour leh!! And I think the management is super weird. It’s sister bus number *85 had a faster frequency, and comes in double decks during peak hours! And if I wanna compare at that point in time, I think *82 will have MORE people waiting for the bus! I experienced a time where I waited at the bus-stop opposite the swimming pool and the condemned bus number couldn’t stop because it’s super full! What’s the problem? Double deck! We need double deck!!!!!

Who says that feeder services cannot use double deck? Which smart aleck said that?? I must slap him to wake up his crazy theory!

During peak hours, a lot of aunties wait for this accursed bus number, and they have to stand and wait for a loooong time. I don’t need an explanation from the Super-slow Bus Service, I just want to see the frequency of the bus to improve! I don’t wanna see old aunties faint because they have to withstand the torturous wait on their feet. Make *82 a better bus service. If not, I rather not take it. Usually I take *85 to the central, fyi, because of faster frequency and shorter traveling route!

If this happens again in another 3-4 times, I will comment on a rather well-known paper’s commentary page. I think if that doesn’t work wonders, nothing will!
