Outing with Ex-W178 members =).. LATEST: with pictures!!!

Ok.. you ppl are really very fortunate… RARELY do I blog so frequently. But it’s for a good reason. Initially was really pissed because my computer at home was going kesiao again. Dunno what’s the problem with it. Hope papa fixes it and get it out of my room pronto!! Can’t stand the fact that this big piece is hindering space for my laptop. Anyway, I’m on the laptop… And hopefully I can post pictures for now. J

Went out with WY, QY and Eichien to Orchard just now. In fact yest, I was trying to solve Eichien’s problem of finding her book. Her school T******’s booklist is so zai.. Bookshop no book available, never mind. But they asked us to find the book with just the title of the book!! Maddening leh!! So I was searching the book title for her. And after 2 hours of making phone porridge with her, I finally found the book at Kinokuniya. Phew! So we could get the book and meet up with the fellas!

WY suggested going to this 中环 restaurant in Takashimaya. So we sat down, after hmmm 20 mins of waiting. And we ordered some food like French Toast and the Polo Pau, which I personally prefer the Polo Pau. It comes with a piece of butter for us to manually put it into the bun, and the bun is HOT!! And imagine tasting the buttery piece of bun… HEAVENLY!!! But I won’t say much about the other French toast. Though it has some butter and honey to go with it, I personally feel that it’s not so nice because it’s too oily.

Main course came rather late for the rest of them.. they ordered fried rice, cheese baked rice [chicken and fish]. Me? I order this…

This is Claypot carp fishball with beancurd.

Here’s my view of the dish:
On first taste, it’s very nice. But on more close tasting, I find that the carp fishballs got rather too oily for my taste. It’s best tasted when it’s warm.

Ok.. this is the fishball after the first bite. Quite nice, but a bit too salty for my taste.

What I can say is that the restaurant though is very crowded, but they tend to forget who ordered what first huh? It’s got theme which is HK food, but my frens and I agree that they are best for tea time.. Their finger food will do better, MUCH better than their main course.

So after all the gouging on food, we have to walk to ward off the spare tyres for a bit. So we walked… I needed to shop for a bag. So we walked. And I tell you, Orchard Road is brightly-lit for Christmas [Yeah… Jesus is the reason for the season]

We ended up at Paragon.. Guess what’s this?

Actually this is part of at least 8 figurines that are found outside Hereen. But they looked Freaky!! Urgh!

We chanced upon JJ Lim when we were outside Ed Hardy’s.. We just happened to pass by ok! We don’t’ have the time to stalk ppl. Previously when we were in a shop and the shop happened to be broadcasting JJ’s song. So she said: “Let me finish listening to the song first leh.”…

Anyway, she was pondering if she should go get his signature. But well, she’s shy lah. So we just left. And I saw that Eichien and WY were actually right in front of JJ and his entourage. So somehow, WY turned around to face JJ and said this : “Could you help her sign?” Wha! Man, that’s brave. So, the book [one of the 2 that she bought] became a prized possession… because it’s signed by her favorite singer. Lol… Even WY’s pen that was used by JJ to sign, was eh hem, became a ‘commodity’ that’s worth way beyond it’s selling price.. Hahaha

This picture was taken at Paragon.. The santa clause was wearing… GOLD? Hmmm.. shouldn’t it be red? But it’s the nicest Christmas Tree so far.

It was truly a great time we had together. Ok, finally my face is revealed!! I’m in black on the right. [I’m not like OO who hides his face till he has success… I’m just too lazy ALL the time to load in my pictures. =)]
