Things are looking up!

Well, despite what i wrote yesterday about the shift being a shit-business, i think i am starting to enjoy the 'troubles' that has come my way.

For one, Singtel and Starhub is more-or-less settled!! Hallelujah!

Well, i sat on that issue for the past 2 days, and like a hen waiting for the egg to hatch, and well. But after hearing explanations from ppl here and there (i think Singtel ppl are irritated with me, CALL SO MANY TIMES!!!) haha... and spoke to our IT person, spoke to our PABX guy bla bla bla.... i understood.

But like what i said, this is not the end of it. It's just phrase 1B.. There will be more to come.

But, it's a good start.

I made my point to ETA on what i felt that there was difficulty. I mean, i can't just do anyhow! I need to UNDERSTAND what it's for. He also suggested that i don't be so task-oriented; instead look at what the desired result is.... He quoted this :

"It's like your faith. You believe so that eventually you go to Heaven and not hell, right?"

[-_-]''' But after that i understood what he meant.

So i adopted this approach: Tell them what i want to see, and not to be overly-anxious about the process of things.

I started with our door thingy. I told the supplier that i wanted this and bla bla bla. Which i showed him. And it was good. Yes!

SO... END RESULT IS THE WAY TO GO, not just the task.

This is being effective, and doing things right!
