As usual, BBG is held on the 7th floor of the auditorium of No 1 Marina Boulevard. From its humble beginning, BBG has grown tremendously. This is where the Business people engage the marketplace.
Today, Pst Robb taught on 7 unbreakable laws of Promotion.
- Respect
- Initiative
- Higher Standard
- Problem-solving
- Motivation
- Submission
- Sowing and Reaping
I will post the rest of this message in my next entry, as it's quite late already. Pst Robb is one preacher that talks a lot about excellence in the market place. It's really very mind-blowing, and though i'm learning on how to apply these principles, i know that i cannot just master everything in 1 day. I will take time to learn more of the above. :)
Leader's youth group have been quite happening not in the very good sense. Chien's favorite Sheryl was hospitalized within the week, still being checked what is wrong.
Di told me a news which was really very saddening. And can see that she's really very affected. Member's mum was very sick, and in the last few stages. And she came for Benny Hinn 2 weeks back, and received Christ. However, in the wee hours of the morning, member's mum was found dead at home. Member's mum committed suicide by hanging herself.
Di said that Member and family are really very traumatized over the whole incident. Youths!! Please keep member in prayer can. She has been through a very tough season.
I use member because i do not want to reveal the name here, out of respect. For one, i am not very close to member here
Travel agencies
Boss, PD and TC will be going over to an Eurpoean country for a business trip next month. And i was involved in assisting to book the air tickets.
I seldom book air-tickets, so i went via 2 travel agents, to see who will give a better rate. The usual one that is recommend by BDD is call Ah-Sa*. They are quite efficient, really quite good. Company isn't big like C-Bro*, D-sty*. And for one, the trend is that these travel agencies are spilled all over Chinatown!
Anyway, there was some mad rush over the tickets as the tickets are running out like crazy! And it's like.... within minutes. Ah-sa* has lah, but decided to go for another option, which we tried C-Bro.
NOW, it's time to complain.
Ah-Sa* accept cheques, and the times that we used them, it's usually payment for the next day's air-ticket. So we thought that it's normal. So, the trip is like in 2 weeks time, so think that we can pay by cheque. It's not lah!!!
C-Bro* said that they don't accept cheque, NOT EVEN CASH CHEQUE! Are they crazy or what? Expect me to carry $3,000 walking around here and there in ChinaTown? Siao one! Super stringent. Just because they had bad experience, doesn't mean that other companies will bounce their cheques. And their deadline is like a few days, if not the booking will be cancelled.
Simply so not-considerating.
*names have been altered to protect the names of the companies, though it seems super obvious!!
