Important Announcement here!
I am very pleased to annouce the retirement of the O2 Xphone IIm. I guess, it has been a very long 20 months that this phone has been serving me. Though especially close to the last 14 months, it hasn't been serving as well as it should be, but this is really the first phone that last that long. So, to speak, it is a significant day.
O2 Xphone IIm started to serve me for the first time, when it was my 25th birthday. Yup, it's the first phone that i've paid it on my own. Remembered that it was $348.. and i purchased it with Di accompanying me. I was really attracted to the fact that it was a SMART phone, but well.... I was very gian about the MP3 function, which eventually i didn't use it at all. But since then, pictures that has been appearing in the blog has been of courtesy of the phone. So for one, it has served me well.
But i guess in the area of usability, it has failed quite miserably. Because for one, the joystick started to get haywired. Then all the control-alternate-delete jokes started because, it loves to hang itself. And even when i was trying to update my contact list, because of the joystick, i think i have mistakenly called up ppl on the list because of the over-unsensitive joystick.
And yes, the next better player is coming up. And it's finally in my hands. Now SE850 is awaiting for it to be fully charged before it assumes the role of my- Mode of contact
- Camera to continue to bring nice graphics into the blog
- Information to the world through Radio
- Music player
- Games
Let me introduce the picture above. This was taken in The Coffee Club at Raffles City last friday. Was with Carrie and Ivy, and after dinner, we sat there and eat dessert. The one that has pinky ice-cream is strawberry ice-cream with lychee-custard. Very nice ah, but expensive. It's at $9.90. The other one, with the cream on top is called Enchanted Chocolate. Very good, but very rich ah. It's at $6.90. The other one on the right is Mudpie. It comes with coffee and choco ice-cream, with an oreo base. Super sinful at $7.00.
My dear Carrie and Ivy are very camera-shy but nevertheless they posed for me. But, it's not convenient to showcase them lah, since i didn't ask them. It's their right.Purchasing of SE850I
Today after work, i went with June to get my phone, since we are so near to Bugis. And it was a motivation that i activated my $150 voucher today. So i need to use it. And i already knew what i wanted. Besides treating her for her belated birthday, i bought protective cover for the phone. This is the nicest phone box i've ever had. It's also the sleakest one. I mean, look at the Nokia ones and the o2. They are fat and not so nice. But SE is soo nice!! Wow. It's thin and it's super nice. Woo!!
Look at the inside of the box. So nice right!! Man, SE has really won my heart. It's really an additional perk to have such a nice box.
Mummy bought me this pouch today. She called me after her check-up and asked me if i want this. Since i really intended to get one, and she said that she's getting it, so she bought it for me. I'm so bless! :)
Current state of SE850
This image shows that the SE850 is sitting on my dressing table, getting charged. And it has been in this state since... 10.30pm. And it will sit around there till about 9plus tomorrow evening. U can see that the picture is rather yellowish. Well, O2 does have this fault on its camera. I mean, what can u expect lor, it's a VGA, goodness.
But i anticipate that SE850 is going to be great, because it's a 2.0 Megapixel phone.
This picture of SE850 signifies that this will be the last picture that will be contributed from O2. Because it will mean that from hereforth, SE850 will undertake the responsibilities of photos from now on.
Happy retirement
Here's to a new phone, and new and better pictures, and a higher quality of usage! Cheers!
