Full of codes that i can't comprehend .
But, the time is coming where i know that i'm going to master basic html. Main thing is that i can start to bring new variations into my humble blog. Bring out nice things. Know where to insert the codes (which i'm still having lotsa trouble with!) and yahda yahda.
Anyway, CHC hosted Pst Benny Hinn's conference for the 13-15 April. It has been really tremendous. I went for all 3 days, and now (monday), i'm really half-dead, very very tired! Seriously!
Usually when a man of God comes, there will be
(1) looooooooooooooooooooooooong queues
(2) Ppl who comes very early to queue (can mean very hungry to hear God's word)
(3) No reservation of seats
(4) Unhappy late-comers (Well, come earlier next time)
**And many more**
And u know, Pst Benny Hinn is an evangelist, and a very famous one at that. Not that he's the one healing, but it's Jesus that heals.
These 3 days are really challenging. For one, finding seats are difficult. On saturday, though we were expected to turn up at 5pm for the 7pm service, i thought of going earlier after gym. So, i left cali at 2pm, took a bus to Kallang Mrt. And Lo and Behold. Heavy showers. I walked in the rain, which threatened to blow my little brolly from my hand. Waited for 30 mins before bus 11 came by. And it was sunny.... SUPER HOT SUN!
I started queuing from 2.30pm, in the hot sun, under the north entrance escalator. And it was 3pm when we were allowed to queue closer to the entrance.
Started sms-ing those who were supposed to come, to come earlier. Leader said to come at 5pm. I sms-ed a few times to let me know who's coming and how many seats. 4.30pm, got a call. Member said coming already. Asked if i can book seats. Member didn't bother to sms back yesterday, saying no time.
HELLO?! It only take like 30 sec to draft out an sms! And like how many ppl are booking seats with me? Only 1, me, myself and 1! Let's close on this.
Finally got into the hall, grabbed 2 rows, and HP died on me!! Argggggggh!
Nvm, ppl come and say i can't reserve seats, i tried my best to retain the seats. Gave location to members, and they didn't reach until 5.3opm. What happened to 5pm?
And i got numerous of calls to tell me they are coming in! And i have to give up like half a row already. Visitors chasing me, urshers chasing me for the seats. Then at 5.45pm they finally reached. None of 'thanks for booking the seats', it's ok (I don't expect them to say a word of thanks).
BUT, NO WORD OF APOLOGIZING FOR BEING LATE!
I was so pissed I wasn't in the mood to talk. If it's those who have to work and come late, it's ok. But, i'm alone, booking 1.5 rows in a SUPER BIG DAY!!! I mean, i was so pissed i didn't feel well.... in addition to under the rain and under the punishing sun. *ROAR*
I literally wanted to go off after all the seats have been filled, because i feel so unwell, and terribly pissed by what has happened. I am hungry for a touch of GOD, that's why i come early. And do i deserve to book seats ALONE? In the whole queue, i was the lone-ranger, whereas in other groups, there are at least like 3ppl queuing together.
Do i deserve ppl coming in and giving a "that's what you are here for" look. I don't care whether if ppl will say thanks for booking the seats or what. I just want this issue to NOT HAPPEN EVER AGAIN, NOT TO ME NOR TO ANYONE ELSE.
Getting the seats is purely by God's grace, not me.
But, the whole conference was really very life-changing. On the 2nd night, Pst Benny prayed and CHC got the impartation for healing ministry. Ppl were touched by the power of God. I felt the presence of God so strongly, i was shaking uncontrollably. Ppl fell under the power. Ppl who were in need of physical healing received it.
These 3 days, Pst Benny talked about
(1) Jesus healed ppl everywhere He goes.
(2) Ppl who followed Him around, all got healed even before He started to preach
(3) Jesus healed in any emotional state, happy, sad, angry (Cleansing of the Temple).
(4) Salvation and Healing comes hand-in-hand.
It's been a life-impacting conference. Hope he comes again soon!!! :)
