Being the First to reach

Have you ever been in a situation where you are the First to reach office, where other people will reach like later? I experienced it first hand, on a day where people will suffer from Monday-blues.

I was scheduling a meeting for my Boss, who needed to have it like before 9am which is our official working hours. So, i know that i have to do something to assist to facilitate this. So i really made an effort by waking up at 6.30am, out of the house by 7.15, take the train at 7.30am, and reached office at 8.15am

The feeling was so wonderful. I didn't sweat like crazy because i took my time to walk over to office. MAN! I'm sold!!! I want to be the first few to reach office, and u know what? The sacrifice is sleep (and maybe morning crappiness due to lack of it), but it's great to be there early. Since then, i've clocked in to office before 9! Yeah!

Personality Test

It's been quite some time since i've posted a personality test thread of myself. Though it's not exactly super accurate on my personality, but it's kinda crappy, and maybe scary if the test results come back to be not that positive.

I'm doing this over a quickie lunch (yes, my nutritious lunch consisting of boiled long bean - yum, fried seafood gyoyza, boiled prawn ball, tau-kwa and fish ngo-hiong and Campbell's cream of corn), thought that i should test myself all over again.

This is the one that i've found on Google. I have done the test, and the results are.... quite strange, but i guess in one way or another it will help me to determine what kind of personality i have. hee...

Just realized this is a personality disorder test.

DisorderRating
ParanoidLow
SchizoidHigh
SchizotypalHigh
AntisocialLow
NarcissisticLow
Obssessive-compulsiveModerate

Wha, i learnt to insert table online. Hahaha. There's actually quite a bit more, but due to my lunch time is going over soon, i shall describe those that are HIGH.

Schizoid

People with schizoid personality disorder avoid relationships and do not show much emotion. Unlike avoidants, schizoids genuinely prefer to be alone and do not secretly wish for popularity. They tend to seek jobs that require little social contact. Their social skills are often weak and they do not show a need for attention or acceptance. They are perceived by others as humorless and distant and often are termed "loners." [My comment: 30% true, as i don't really have a need for attention, 60% not true, because, I'M FUNNY!! OK! Haha... and my job requires me to have quite a bit of social contact, 10% neutral, because i do find myself to be a loner]

Symptoms of this disorder:

  1. Weak interpersonal skills [still passable!]
  2. Difficulty expressing anger, even when provoked
  3. "Loner" mentality; avoidance of social situations [quite true... hmmm]
  4. Appear to others as remote, aloof, and unengaged
  5. Low sexual desire [no comment on this.... =_=]
  6. Unresponsive to praise or criticism

Schizotypal

Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow. [My comments: I'm not strange right, though i do like solitude....over elaborate speech is something that can be changed with frequent practice, so it's not exactly a correct way to say that someone who has such speech will be schizotypal - I don't think i am, though]

Symptoms of this dosorder
  1. Odd or eccentric mannerisms or appearance
  2. Superstitious or preoccupied with paranormal phenomena
  3. Difficult to follow speech patterns
  4. Feelings of anxiety in social situations
  5. Suspiciousness and paranoia [i think i only relate to this, when i have excessive worrying for the door being locked properly]
  6. Odd beliefs or magical thinking
  7. Appears shy, aloof, or withdrawn to others [Not me, remember, i'm funny/crappy. =p]

Hmmm. See my comments. Some are quite true of me, but others are not. So, it's a good way to determine it lah.

Try it, u never know what results it will bring you, but only You and you alone know whether if it's true or not.
