Grotesque incident on the train
Yesteday i was on the way home from Church with Diana and Michelle. So we were on the train from Tanah Merah back home. So i was sitting at the right corner of the benches. Besides me was a 3 year old kid, who was playing with his mother. And he was pretty violent. Di was standing quite near to the kido, and she commented that she felt quite 'molested'. That's the magnitude of his playing. So Di, Mic and i were talking talking talking, when out of the corner of my eye, i noticed the kido leaving the bench and stood. To our uttermost horror, kido's mummy pulled down his pants to reveal his lower part of the body, oblivious to the heavily crowded train that in any way, anticipated or wanted this 'free show'. The mum also quite ultimate; she took out a transparent plastic bag from her food packages, and readied the kido to pee into the bag - IN FULL VIEW TO ALL THE REST IN THE TRAIN, which it was moving at a fast speed in the tunnel! SI BEH GROSS!!! After that, kido's mum tied up the pee-bag, and ready to leave the train, with the kido insisting on taking that bag of urine.... EEEEEEEEK!!!! After i got back home, i was watching the news when it reported that passengers in HK will be fined or jailed for
- Not queuing up properly
- Being rude
Encounter at ST James
I went on an adventure on Friday to St. James Power Station with a few friends. I mean, i've heard of this place where it was a happening place with many pubs. So since i've an invitation by a friend to go, i thought "Why not"? I did hesitated for a while, because i guess the stigma of the incident in January still plagued me for quite a bit, but i guess it should be ok to go and take a look; can't always be comfy in my well right? I didn't know that i have to queue up to go into these pubs. Sounds weird lah, because at certain places such as Dragonfly the crowd was super-overwhelming, where i heard that you have to queue for 1 hour to get in! Really quite amazing. Anyway, there were 3 of us, and we decided on The Boiler Room where, we also had to queue to get in. When we got in, the ursher gave us a chop, which i guess was with invisible ink. Fren 2 explained that it is there, though invisible. Later i learnt that when there was UV light that was flashed, then the chop can be seen. So it's one chop for one pub. The pub was very smokey (Haha.... no smoking in pubs rule coming up soon), and we walked into the place. I was quite surprised that there was a stage, and there were ppl singing and dancing on stage. Ppl on the dance floor were dancing and i guess, bouncing to the music. I didn't really drink, because i don't like, so fren 1 and 2 were bouncing (haha) and dancing to the music, while at the same time laughing at the singers, where fren 1 was saying that the female one is not so pretty. But i have to admit that she has a good voice. And the dancers are good. I guess The Boiler Room is more on to R&B, and sometimes they sang in languages that we totally don't understand. 3/4 of the time, i feel that we were in a concert, with the occasional bounced. When we left ST James, it was about 1plus. So, who says that it's a must to drink? I beg to differ. It's an experience, but whether if i will go again, i really dunno. I've experienced and learnt something new :)
