CHC first Family-Day Carnival
Tuesday was Labour Day which is a public holiday for all of us. Church had a wonderful free carnival and concert prepared for us. And because of this nice event, there isn't any cg meeting this week. Free, meaning that we have coupons that are given to us, FOC.This is one of the pictures of the coupon. Aiya! Just realized this is the first picture that is published on blog using SE850. Anyway, the worth of this coupon is about $12, and u can use it to buy food, play games etc etc etc. There was another one that was given out before the concert at about $10. This nice one comes with a lucky draw card, but i didn't win anything :( My HK trip.... flew out of my hands.
I arrived with Chien around 2pm, whereas the concert started at 3pm. And usually u know lah, we Singaporeans, not just Harvesters, are very good at queuing (long-suffering :P ), so with time taken to wait, me and Chien started taking pictures with my camera.
Michelle was talking to her friend behind. Look at how clear the picture is. Then i suggested something super bo-liao, because we are quite far behind in the crowd. She take me and i take her, at the same time.
But u know, Chien loves to take photo u know, so i take a picture of her. (To Chien: you are free to copy and paste the picture :) )
The concert
Below are a few pictures of the concert, from the starting, to the end. I took quite a bit, but as i load all these pictures using a dial-up connection (amazing huh), so i have been blogging for the past hour, but took like 30 mins doing the loading of pictures. But things are going to change for the better, very fast :)
Overall, it was a good concert. We heard Sun's new songs as well as old songs. And the most significant thing about Family Day is when all the families are gathered together. And Pst and Sun celebrated Pst's Mummy's 80th birthday. It's really a very nice sight. Seriously, family day will not be the same if all the family members are not gathered together.
I wanted to put more pictures up, esp on the Century Square Ladies....*ladies, hold your breath!!* my nice shoes and new earrings, and something i'm impressed with the Customer Care Centre at Hewlett-Packard, but as i'm really running on a super slow dial-up connection, i will take much longer in completing this entry (have spent like 1.5 hours on it up till now :( ). Getting broadband soon!! But, more on that the next entry. Meanwhile, enjoy!
