Of buses and Taxis

I rarely have good things to say about our public transport system here. Every single day, i have to content with buses that waits Forever to come. And sometimes, it gets super frustrating, because

1. You thought you are early, and end up being late
2. You were kept waiting and thinking what the h... is wrong with the bus services in Singapore
3. Because the bus is late, and you will end up late for work, and u end up giving hefty business to the high-end counterparts, the Taxi

And u know lah, taxis are not like cheap-cheap. They are like hmmm let's see: at least 600% more expensive than taking a bus or the train!

Point to say is that: I was sabo-ed by the bus 285. I was waiting at the bus stop at 8.15am. And realized that all the coming buses are not even going to Clementi! Waited and Waited....

8.45am, a bus 285 slowly stutted to the bus-stop. By the, there are soooo many people. And u know lah, peak period, FOR GOODNESS SAKE! increase the frequency and give double-deck buses lah.

So when i reached Clementi ah, i felt that no matter how hard i try, i will not be able to reach office by 9.15am via train. The only thing i can do is to take Cab.

I waited 20 mins for a Cab, which incidentally, is also very crowded. It was like 9am when i got onto the cab.

The uncle was very nice, ask me where i want to go. So i told him, "Uncle, go by the way that don't need to kena so many ERP gantry" *haha*

So uncle took me on a ride, up AYE-CTE-Orchard. And true enough, i only kena $2 ERP. And the greatest joy is this: I reach office at 9.10am!! Cool huh!! Best is the cab fare: only $14!!

Compared to what will cost if i take from AYE all the way... Wha... savings!!!

So if u want to go to city area, go by this route, save money!!! :)
