Many things to blog about

Just want to thank the Lord for HIS wonderful blessing. Yesterday i was lamenting about my brother, about how much an arse he's been.... today took on a totally different feel on my blog (See.. women are such emotional and fickle-minded creatures)

Aiyo! Before i drift off again and again, i better quickly say my piece. Yah yah yah, i know lah.. been very lo-so. U guys better pluck out the eye dirt and be prepared for my bombarding of my entry.

I want to thank God that the long awaited tuition assignment has finally dropped on my lap. U know ah, I’ve been wanting to get an assignment to supplement my income, which is nothing wrong – my mother also teaches dancing. The similarity is that both of us has the passion to teach. I quite missing giving tuition, ever since last year, when I’ve stopped. I guess that’s why I have a passion to do the Training aspect in HR.

To me, teaching… ok tutoring enable me to shape lives of the kids that I’m teaching. Sometimes I feel that as a tutor, you really relate much into the kids’ life…. I remember this kid that I taught. His name is Larry. I see him everyday from Monday to Friday. His parents don’t have time for him. So everyday I see him, he’s mischievous, attitude problem. But all his actions stems from the fact that he wants his parents’ attention. It’s been like 7 years, but I still remember him.

OK, enough of mischievous kids.. before I drift off to my most Ultimate student Ethan -_-“

Did I forget? The assignment is worth at least $200 per month!! Wow wow wow. GOD is very good *Clap clap*. Excited for the next 4 months of Tutoring because I’m going to gear the boy/gal up for PSLE. So I’m going to start to do a bit of homework, but BOSS it will be done at home, never in the office, at all, GUARANTEED!

I’m going to start saving diligently for a rainy day, and hopefully enough to change my laptop. I’m intending to phrase out Acer Travelmate 230 (Celeron) within the next 10 -12 months. It has to hang in there for now.

My current target

I want to buy a new jacket. And u know la, my jackets all are like thick ugly and cheapo looking ones, or childish purplish (I still love the color heaps btw). I want something that is HIP And stylish and nice, besides being able to keep warmth.

Was walking by Heeren with Ivy Wong when we passed by Ed Hardy to walk walk la. And this place is very high-class one, so I’ve never bought anything from here, yet. Why a t-shirt cost at least $150! I was looking through a shelf of clothings when I saw a jacket that is Olive-or-Army green with tiger heads as the pattern. I lurve it! I want to buy it.

Alas! It cost $252! Argh… I’m thinking if I should buy it. To me, spending $100 on a shirt is expensive ok. But considering that it’s ED HARDY leh, it may be quite a good deal after all.

Thinking thinking thinking…. Wha. I’m such a spendthrift even in my thoughts! *shudders*

Candid pictures of Jerby

I took this on Friday morning, when I was on leave last week. Didn’t go for Emerge session in the day time (More on that later). I realized Jerby really go anywhere, sleep anywhere. *Shang nao jing ah*. And he was on my bed with this look.

Very photogenic right

I managed to get a sleepy picture of Jer to realized that he was winking with 1 eye when he was about to fall asleep zzzzz…

Kua Si Mi? Lim Peh ai kun…

Emerge 2007

All I can say is that the Emerge Conference really is amazing. Hmmm I was supposed to serve Day 1 and last day. And I was really thankful for the support of one another in the Team. Because some songs I wasn’t familiar with. And the status quo in Chorus Board is that: Dunno betta ask, before u sabo everyone. So I admitted that some songs I dunno. So I asked, everyone learn together.

And all of us helped one another. It was very good. Amazing addition of screens for Triligual (Eng, Chi, Jpn) added extra challenges for us, in terms of flow and team work. But all in all, it was really very good. See lah, I drifted off again… paiseh, this is an old ailment of mine.

I had rest on Friday, and was called to serve on Saturday, which is a privilege (many are called, but few are chosen). There are more things to be challenged with, more changes at the last minute and learning to adapt to the changes. I guess in stressful times, all the leaders’ moods really get high but it was really great. When the service ended, everyone started to cheer and hugged one another. It was really a wonderful, wonderful conference.

There was live telecast on the first night, where there were 2 satellite dishes used. And that service I was serving. It was pretty stressful, though we tried to act normal *haha*. But overall it was great :)

Previous Entry

Ok, i admit that yesterday's entry was a bit harsh lah. I nearly put an expletive (ok i did and removed it after 10 mins of posting) into my blog. But i realized that being the Salt and Light, i shouldn't lah. No matter how angry and pissed off i feel. But it doesn't mean that i am condemning all men. Because in somewhat or another, men has the nature to be chauvinistic. I cannot tolerate those chauvinism that involve being happy at the expense of another. That is the type that i cannot and will not tolerate. Ok. So guys! Exercise your chauvinism at the correct time and the correct place.

oK, have said enough for the day.

Next entry, i will probably introduce my favorite hangout, Bugis Street. Bought some 'gems' today but didnt' have time to load the pictures. See ya next entry!
