Haiz, i dunno what is happening, u know?
This whole week seems to have lotsa issues that are piling up, and that which is not supposed to happen! Suddenly i had someone who left before the review coming by to accuse us of not paying for MC. I MEAN, Get a life la! It's SOP to know that an employee before probation is not entitled to MC leave or Annual leave. All are to be considered as NPL wha. And i've never had any issues, until this person came along. Man, being accused of not doing that thing ah, it's really darn irritating. Because, it's standard. Haiz. Here is Singapore, not elsewhere.
That aside, then there's this issue where we are expecting a professional to join us. Imagine the internal 'alarm bell' rang within me when i received a mail from the recruiter wanting to call me. It's enough to warrant the urgency on the matter when the person in question appeared infront of her. Anyway, Bosses spoken to the person, and to me, the reason is simply ridiculous la! I mean, if u are not keen to move, then DON'T MOVE! Now leaving us to pick up dunno how many pieces of debris. Now this issue really cause me to 'Twice bitten, never try!'
Last time when i was recruiter, i got aeroplaned like every other month. I didn't expect that even when i'm on the side of the end-user, also kena such situations. My, u can really expect anything to happen la.
It's been a looooong week, and really wish friday comes soon. The week has been quite intense, having missed out on good ppl that can potentially join us. Nvm, tomorrow is Thursday. It's going to get good.
This is the week where work stress and the 'auntie' has to pop by. Man! It's a harder week. Grrrllll.... Foreseeing moodswings. Taking leave on Monday to rest and sleep. I think it's time i need to recharge for one day, and chiong ah on tuesday.
Archetypes will be stopped, because for one, i'm really quite busy and didnt' have time to really blog about it... have to return my book already. Now it's kinda random on what i wanna blog ba.

May I know what company you are attached to?
This is the first time I heard under probation employee are not allowed to claim pay leave for MC. It is understandable that MC is not claimable during probation for certain company. But for MC is considered unpaid leave is ridiculous. Don't you think probation employee is also human?
surprised to hear that a singaporean company (assuming you're working for singaporean company based on your profile) not providing basic MC leave. so fine, you don't pay for a probational staff's medical bills, but at least give the guy a break and let him recover. but to make him "pay" for being sick too? now that's not right...
