I was getting ready for work and was in my room. When i felt a familiar sound. There's some sounds coming from my door. Thinking that either of the babies are sitting outside, i ignored it. And when i was done, i opened my door and was quite surprised that none of the babies was sitting and staring at me.
Then my dad came by and said that there was another quake.
-_-"
U noticed that i'm not bothered with 'reporting' on other quakes right? Because, until now, there's still no one that had made up their minds on what on the Ritcher scale is la!
So i'm not going to just anyhow bombasted any number that comes. So there's been another quake, just that there's been quite a bit of aftershocks. I don't think there's any aftershocks experienced today, so that's a good thing.
Comments wrt the quake
Before and after cg, we were discussing on the effects of the quake.
Jac stays in Jurong West, and her family experienced the effects of the quake when, their utensils hanging in the kitchen started to fall.
Someone.... i dunno who, said that the water in his fish tank started to move like siao.
Today, i happened to join my colleagues at the Indian store for Lunch. And the topic for the day is about the quake (among all others, such as scrorosis bla bla bla). Eke my colleague was in the office when the quake happened on wednesday evening. And he said that he saw the water in his water bottle shaking violently and he felt dizzy throughout the whole night. Jelly was in the vicinity but didnt sense anything, except that everyone was like standing outside the building. I didn't sense anything since i was on the bus (the bus was shaking together with the shakes, so that explains nothing felt)
Anyway, Eke mentioned something worth thinking about. Throughout the years, we have been experiencing more of these shakes. And especially this year. In March we felt something. Nowe we feel it stronger. And he said that it might hit Singapore eventually, as the shifting of plates are getting much closer to the equator. Who knows, Singapore might sink....
I kinda felt quite freaked after thinking about it. Man, it's a thought that can become a reality should earthquake really hit us one day.
Let's hope that there's no more quake.
