Also, i hasn't been blogging much, as i'm really quite angry with the old connection..... 31.2kbps.... KBPS?!!!!! U know la..... Sometimes u can be blogging way over and u lost the connection, when a call comes in and stuff like that. And u have to start all over again. Or that when you are logging to some heavy sites and it takes at least a century to get things up.
The day has finally come. The nice guy from Singtel finally came down at grand ole 4pm to do the installation of the broadband for us. And yes, u are right! I am on the new 6mbps connection now!!!
I never really appreciated speed very much, as u know la, as i've learnt to get use to be SLOW! And just downloading the Windows Live Messenger on my old connection will take me like..... 1 hour! And on this new connection, 35 sec!
Of course, i need to credit the new laptop, my Toshiba. It's got a great upgrade from an *eh hem* Intel Celeron to now Intel Centrino Duo. And got a free upgrade to 2GB of RAM. How cool's that huh? Not to forget it's Microsoft Windows Vista with super beautiful graphics. Man, i'm really a slave to aesthetics.
Now the only issue i have is that all my previous applications for my SE is not that updated yet, so no photos now. I will still keep the old Acer to do that, for now. I need to leverage on my 5-in-1 card reader.
Oh, before i forget, i want to thank Jo and Laks. Thanks for the belated birthday gift! Really appreciate it.
I hasn't really bought a music CD for the longest time! I will enjoy it.
Tilll i can transfer to SE, i'll listen it with my super-duper powerful DVD-VCD-CD player on my laptop. :D
