It seems to be yesterday, when i was offered the position of HR/Admin.... Remembered the day that i was just sitting by Mass Power's Bugis office, crapping with Ivan and Coy, when the phone rang and i got the job.
I remembered starting on the 19th of October with Earth9.com. Remembered on the first day of work, i was in the same lift with Earl and he didn't recognize me until the door opened on the 3rd floor....
Coming back to present day.
Today is the 18th of October 2007. Tomorrow marks my first year with Earth9.com.
It seems so fast that one year has passed.
Going through new things, besides knowing how to do sales and telemark. I learnt a lot of things through lotsa frustrations on my Boss and my part... going through lotsa shit and lotsa tears going through the office shift, learning more about humility all the way (learn that a degree is not everything, what more a shitty 2nd Tier university degree).
Not to forget that as i joined the company, the existing prayer group grew by 33.33%. How we prayed for the company and seeing things happen, and how Boss saw the effect of our prayer and the reality of God over this company.
Of course there are also joys to be reckon with, such as finally opening up the Malaysia Bank account, getting stuff up and running, doing new things, internship programs to administer, things to learn.
But i guess, it's those things that you go through together with the company, and that in the process, your passion and love for the company grows. I dunno if you ever experienced this, but when you are part of the company and you go through the ups and downs together, you know that you can't help but feel burden for the bad things that are happening, and rejoicing from the bottom of your heart when for e.g the company got good revenue coming in, new projects to work with.
This is year 1. In the next coming year, i do not know what will be in store for me. But what i can say is, I'm still loving what i am doing, and hoping that there are greater things in stall for me.
Here's to a greater year ahead! Cheers.
