Singapore mourns the loss of the country's favorite Orang Utan, Ah Meng.
Ah Meng died on 大年初二 in the morning at the Singapore Zoological Gardens, and will be laid to rest tomorrow.
When i was in Primary 4, i remembered going to the Zoo with my family members, and we took a photo with Ah Meng, with my auntie and me. Well, that time what i remembered was being afraid, though i was born in the year of the monkey. But well, now i appreciate this favorite orang utan as a notable icon of Singapore greatly missed. Hope her children/grandchildren will continue to do what she has left off.
