Today is the 1st of October. I’ve already slacked for about 1 month plus.
There are many things going on, during this period of slacking esp in the month of September. With my babies going to the foster’s and stuff, i guess God has a way for me, to be around, and be around for my daddy who’s really broken by this selfish act. And for both of us, it’s a time of recovery and is still learning to pick up the pieces.
Besides the one at Bukit Pasoh, last week, in the middle of all the issues, i had 2 job opportunities. One is at IBP, a manufacturing industry. Really big, but i seriously hope i don’t get offered by them. Cos, they are not very friendly, and i spent like 3 hours there, half the time i spent waiting, and doing silly tests.
The other one is big IT company, based in Germany, located off Pasir Panjang. It has a big office in Singapore, and the people are much more friendly and approachable. And it’s not far from home. Most importantly, there’s good development for HR where it’s concerned. I’m definitely more drawn towards this company even though it’s gonna be on a contract extendable role. They are very upfront on their limitations, which i think is really good, for the candidates and employer to be really frank, so that both sides, managing expectations will be easier and smoother.
It seems that it’s quite positive, though they are still seeing candidates. I sure hope i get offered and start work soon.
I love coming to the library, but i think i need to busy myself a bit more, so that time passes faster that i can see my babies sooner and i can bring them home faster!! =)
