Today is the first day of the training. And this uncle-looking trainer came and spoke to us since 1.30pm till about 5pm.
Some of my colleagues were either multitasking, or trying really hard to focus. For me, i TRY to attend, with a perspective of wanting to really learn more. And NOT everyone gets to become an internal auditor, ok.
Despite the boredom in the first half hour, i was pretty amazed at the metamorphosis of the trainer. He went from boring, to dramatic, to being lame (i sense the temperature getting exceptionally freezing at some juncture).
I think the room got colder with the passing hour.
If u have read my tweets, you would have read about 2 or 3 snippets of what was said during the training.
I know the trainer is trying to engage us, and to make the whole session more enjoyable. Good try dude, bring more mentos tomorrow. =)
And what i learnt from today:
- ISO is not just about the filing system! I remembered the sickening experience of ISO-ing in the recruitment agency. It’s all about nothing but the damn filing system.
- But it’s different in a Warehouse and Logistics environment. The filing is important, but the utmost important is more about IMPROVING PROCESSES.
RAISING ISSUES TO RAISE THE STANDARDS
See i’m quite an attentive student. Hehehe.
