Happy Valentine’s Day everybody!

Valentine’s Day…. to me is…. just a normal day. I’m single, and busy with my kiddo on this day.

But to many courting couples, it’s a special day that they wanna commemorate their relationships with one another. And a day where the ladies get to receive bouquets of 99 roses, diamonds (the best gift for gals – it’s their best friend), and the guys need to burn a hole in their pockets (willingly) to bring their partners to RWS, MBS and all the high-end expensive restaurants, and maybe the Singapore Flyer.

To many of the married couples, they will be at home, manning their children and being busy with looking over the childrens’ homework, and doing their usual stuff, like watching tv, with a bag of chips. Seems like it’s a normal routine.

So, as u can see, there’s a progression.

Singlehood (normal V day) –> In a Relationship (super duper expensive V Day) –> Married couple (What V Day??)

So…. what’s the difference between a Single person and a Married person on V day?

Ok, this is very on the surface. But the truth is, a married couple can be loving on other days. Everyday can be Valentine’s day, if one can make it to be. (Quoted from my colleague)

Well, V day or not, Happy Valentine’s day everyone! And this song brings out the lovely-doveyness for those who are loving, and do continue to be so loving ever more.

Very old school, but totally into the mood. =)
