My Lunar New Year 2011

It has been 3 amazing weeks with my BB Bold 9780….. that my blog has been stagnant since my last entry on 21st January. OMG! It’s like 3 weeks ago!!!!

First up, i must show u the most Kawaii one.

Oh, my niece is around 18months old, and this is the stage where she’s really becoming very fun. She has been yakking non-stop, and picking up stuff and then repeating the whole cycle. And she’s very very chatty, and imitating whatever we are saying. So we need to really say the correct things, so she would pick up weird stuff. 

And Oh, she’s not just strutting, she has been running…. knocking on doors. Totally KAWAII!!!

I posted this on my FB and everyone said that she looks so YOUNG. And i proudly say that the 不老的传说 (won’t grow old) genes are in my family. My mama is 50+ already, and yes, she has the good genes, coupled with good skincare (Cleanse-tone-moisturize) regime. And yes, i need to do that too.

Actually, i didn’t feel very much this CNY, maybe because i have to report back to work on 大年初三. So imagine on the 2nd day of CNY, i have to adjust back to work mode, albeit for half a day.

First day was boring except for my Baobeis’ who came back for a while. Then i had to send them back to Uncle in the evening….. 2nd day was at Grandma’s house.



I really like my Grandma. Maybe cos she’s the only matriarch who can speak Chinese – my paternal grandparents could only speak in Hokkien, in which i’m self-professed 1/8 of a pail. 

As for the dreaded questions, this year, it came once again. Argh. My annual pain. This year, it came at another level:

My oldest Cousin asked me when will it be my turn to give angpow. OMG!

But still, this CNY has been fantastic. Caught up with my older cousins, and their children. One more addition coming up! So exciting! :)

My 2011 Annual 捞金大行动 is starting tomorrow. My assignment with my Kiddo starts tomorrow. PSLE year. Pretty exciting. It’s either make it or break it. And we shall make it! Fighting!!!!!
