PriceTag – By Jessie J

Before last Friday, i’ve never heard of this song.

Heard the title for the first time when FJ asked us (those who are born in the 80’s) if we have heard of this song. All of went “HUH??Simi gua lai eh?”

Hmmm i think song titles during our time were not so…. (hmmm).

Let’s face it. Songs that are out these days are really of another level. Anything can be the lyrics of the song.

I only know about pricetag as an indication on a new shirt that i wanna buy, or a sticker that shows the price of this bag of broccoli at the Supermarket.

This song is really quite a song where people born in the 90’s or close to the new millennium will know and appreciate.

I kinda appreciate the fact that this song talks about happiness, about bringing joy to people. Just don’t bother about the price tag.

Just like what PZ talked about during offering in service yesterday.

When you tell your kids you will buy them anything they want, they will ask “Can i have this please?”. They won’t ask “Daddy, do you have enough money to buy this for me?”

Kids shows us the simplest things about joys in life.

Don’t care about the price tag, as long as you can bring joy.

Unfortunately, we Singaporeans never earn enough. We cannot NOT look at the price tag. Ok, that sounds so me. Hehehe.

To all Daddies and Papas out there, who gives to their children in love, with or without looking at the pricetags,

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!
