那些年,我们一起追的女孩

Just got to watch this show today.

Maybe it’s like more than 1 month late, though. Cos everyone has already finished raving about this show, before i got to watch it.

Today’s 26th December 2011. Boxing day.

Also, it’s an in-lieu holiday for Christmas Day yesterday, which was a Sunday. Woohoo!

I must say that my buddy Michelle made a great choice of this show over the other shows such as Puss in Boots, or Alvin and the Chipmunks 3.

It should be fine that i give it some spoilers since i’m so late with watching this show that maybe if i just grab 10 people, 9 people have already watched it.

Firstly, this show does carry some Hokkien translate to English vulgarities, such as the 4-letter word, as well as some issues that teenagers face with, such as angst and some other er hem… physicological changes. Which is pretty in your face. Therefore, if u are 16 and below, u should not watch it.

Then this story is mainly about how teenage friendships that blossomed into love in the later stage of their life in adulthood which did not end up with a happy ending for each other. But it’s kind of a different type of ending.

Now, the days of my youth wasn’t this exciting. But it’s quite a bittersweet-ending kind of movie.

Movie rating: 4/5
