Migraine-Career Fair and ISO

I WANT TO GRUMBLE!!!!!

Yah lah.. And i know this is the only place to really grumble. Anyway, is nursing a small migraine. And when i say it's a small one, take it from me that it's still manageable. When it's a big one.... i won't even blog.

Did you know that this week we are having Career Fair at Suntec City from 2 March - 5th March? It was pretty busy trying to juggle the orders and everything. And just when we feel like our bones are going to break from all the preparations.... ISO 9002 came just right in front of us!!! Urgh!

Most of us were madly scrambling around the office, typing ferouciously on the keyboard, trying to make everything look nice on the filing.

Quote from someone i know : "You know what ISO means? It means murdering the trees... Jia pa liao"

Pretty true u know? Well, if u print one thing wrong, esp if it's supposed to be on a new piece of paper, instead of recycled, you have to reprint it all over again. That's what i did today. And yeah, endless filing. Not that i minded you know. I think i can even get ISO for my own personal money filing system *kidding lah*

Anyway, besides that really hindered me calling candidates and telemarketing, it also made me hard to leave the office at 6pm! Urgh. Left at 6.15pm. Imagine being stranded at Bugis and not knowing how and what to get a cab! Totally frustruation. And the MOST most most stupidest thing: i took a train from Bugis to City hall to try and get a cab. Totally duh leh.

But by God's grace, i managed to reach Jurong West by 7.20pm. If it's not God's miracle, i tell you, it's nothing else lah.

Praise was good. Except that the *** button was really very fragile. Thankfully we are not there often. If not i will go mad leh. Nearly zao geng.

Remember that i had some joint pain? Well, i'm going to deal with it, Really! Going to do a blood test.... soon. Spoke to a fren about that, and she said that i should go check it for gout...

Gout is a type of arthritis caused by uric acid. Uric acid is a waste product formed from the breakdown of certain proteins (called purines). It is normally removed from the body by the kidneys. In gout, uric acid builds up and forms crystals which are deposited inside the joints.

Which joints are affected?
The base of the big toe is usually affected. The big toe becomes red, hot, swollen and very painful. The pain may last for days to weeks if not treated. Attacks may recur at intervals of weeks or months. Gout can also affect other joints like the ankle, knee, wrist and fingers.

Gout is a curable disease, but if left untreated, it can cause kidney stones, which may lead to kidney damage.

Career fair's starting in 2 days time.... And Nigel's tests are in progress. It's gonna be a hectic and crazy week. The crazier part hasn't started yet.
