My right eyelid has been twitching

Ok, i know it's less than 30 mins since my last post.

In fact while crying out and blogging [yes, i was so unhappy that i cried while blogging, thank God i didn't damage my laptop], my right eyelid had been twitching - nonstop! In fact it has been going on the whole day. And it had been twitching since saturday, when i went back to work in the morning. And it's totally irritating me to the core!!!

Anyway, i kinda have a thought to google-out what was happening to me. And i have some answers.

I was brought into this medical website
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000756.htm

Let's see....

An eyelid twitch is called a blepharospasm. It happens when your eyelid muscles repeatedly and rhythmically contract. In some instances, the eyelid may repeatedly close (or nearly close) and re-open.

The most common things that make the muscle in your eyelid twitch are fatigue, stress, and caffeine. Once spasms begin, they may continue off and on for a few days. Then, they disappear. Most people experience this type of eyelid twitch on occasion and find it very annoying. In most cases, you won't even notice when the twitch has stopped.
More severe contractions, where the eyelid completely closes, are possible. These can be caused by irritation of the surface of the eye (cornea) or the membranes lining the eyelids (conjunctiva). Sometimes, the reason your eyelid is twitching cannot be identified. This form of eyelid twitching lasts much longer, is often very uncomfortable, and can also cause your eyelids to close completely.

In addition to having repetitive, uncontrollable twitching or spasms of your eyelid (usually the upper lid), you may be very sensitive to light or have blurry vision.

Eyelid twitching usually disappears without treatment. In the meantime, the following steps may help:
- Get more sleep. i need to sleep, but it's been a tiring time.
- Drink less caffeine. no caffeine for the whole week, unless i want to twitch my eye overstrongly (-_-)'''
- Lubricate your eyes with eye drops.
If twitching is severe, small injections of Botulinum toxin can temporarily cure the spasms.

See a doctor when
- Your eyelid twitching does not go away within one week.
- The twitching involves other parts of your face.
- You have redness, swelling, or a discharge from your eye.
- The twitching completely closes your eyelid.
- Your
upper eyelid is drooping.

Hmmm.. i'm pretty surprised that this thing actually have a rather detailed explanation. Guess i've been overly stressed up by my capabilities, and the main thing which's the shift. Think i'll try and sleep.

Well, i hope that this medical information is helpful for those who are currently very stressful, and have your eyelid/s twitching. I'll try to sleep.
