CNY 2007: The year of the OINK!

Finally, the O2 phone decides to 'repent' and got my pictures up and running. And thus, you get to see how my dearies niece and nephew have grown. You must know that i REALLY really see them once a year, during CNY. Lol. That's what Gerlynn's papa commented.

But it was a time that we all looked forward to. CNY! A time to rest, to 'sin' and being ok with it (yah, suffering for now because need to loose all the fats now), and to catch up with close relatives.

I'm 3rd in rank for the 3rd generation of my family of grandchildren (well, my grandparents are all not around already, except my mummy's mummy who's still going strong :)) ). There are altogether 8 of us.

1) Guo Ming (Papa of Pretty gals Germaine and Gerlynn)

2) Ying Han (papa of handsome boy Zavier)

3) me (The Christian)

4) Jason (The family poster boy for LeeHwa and Citigems)

5) Ei Liang (the one in Police, with braces)

6) Ei Fang (The one who used to have very curly fringe)

7) Jing Xue (the only son of my 2nd auntie, and who dropped a subject for O levels)

8) Ei Chien (the 'lao yao', my 'seed', who says 'welcome to CHC')

It's really nice to be able to gather, sit down and eat steamboat and then just chit-chat. And my nephew and niece, BOY, have they really grown. I still have pictures of them when i took it last year.

Gerlynn is exactly 25 years old younger than me, being born on the same day and month as me. Urgh! It's a sign: I'm getting old!! Can't image when she's 25... Argh.....

This was taken when Gerlynn was about 5 months old. Cute and Chubby, and look a lot like her older sister Germaine. But then, Germaine is too camera-shy, so no pictures of pretty Germaine for now....

Now Gerlynn looks like this at 1 year 5 months. She's a very smiley toddler, who loves to smile. See, she looks like her mummy right. Mummy very pretty right!! Look how different Gerlynn is.

Zavier is 2 months younger than Germaine. In this picture, Zav is an exact image of his papa, Ying Han. Oh, did i mentioned.... Han looked like Zeng Guo Cheng (Taiwanese Host)?

This is Zavier at 1 year 4 months. Don't mistake this picture to be a 'duh' picture. He's also very smiley and daring (more about that later). Just didn't managed to capture his handsome picture lah. But u can really see the difference within the year.

I'll expect them to look even more different. By then, i'll make another comparison :)

Gerlynn and Zavier VS Doggies

I have to say that the 2 darlings are really very daring. They are not like Jiejie who winced at the sight of Furby and Jerby. They are like going towards them, totally not afraid of them.

Gerlynn managed to 'sayang' both dogs. Not afraid at all.

Zavier did 2 significant things:

1) He tried to stroke Furby's tail, and then pull his tail (Of course, Furby kena shock too)

2) He 'slapped' Jer on his muzzle, twice (And Jer stood on his hind and put his paw on Zav's shoulder. )

It was a super funny sight.

I wonder what they will do to my doggies when they come by next year. They will have one more target though, which should be a very easy target to ka-chiau...... Miss Ching Ei Chien!! Pls start naming your chihuahua pup soon. Since it's a brown and white one, just call it Brownie can? Hmmm... Chien betta start training pup soon to ready it for challenges next year. Lol. I'll 'dispatch' Furby to give it some orientation ... one fine day.

All in all, it was a real fruitful CNY. Yes, the ang pow collection has been fruitful, meeting up with friends, and gaining (again) a skill in 'dry swimming' which i keep forgetting the rest of the time and 'refresh' during CNY season. I must emphasize: i don't play for money, just good, clean fun.

Work has been great, save for some weird issues that happened today on the Outlook Calendar.

I'm conquering my giants!!

It will be the academic issue, unless i have something else interesting to blog about. I shall share on ways to be productive... Stay tuned.
