What would you do different if u have a million dollars?

Before i start on with my entry today, i would like to announce that i am going to start on a series with the revelation and helpful tips that i have gained from reading this book.

I tell you, i think Brian Tracy is really one very encouraging writer. It's pretty sad that i've only known him since Monday. Think i'll prefer him anyday than Anthony Robbins. (Don't hoot me, if u are a AR fan, i've seriously never read him before,so BT rawks for now!) Okok, it's a management major student thingy.

What would you do differently if you have a million dollars, tax free?

I came across this sentence while i was reading through chapter 2 of the book (Page 32). BT says that when you ask yourself this question, you will be clear on what you really want in life. But of course, now everyone wishes that they won at least 1 million in lottery. No one will mind having more money.

This part of the chapter really hit me hard: What do i really want in life. Let's see....

If i really have $1,000,000.
1) I will tithe $100,000 first. Must honor God first!!!
2) With remaining $900,000......
- I will save like $100,000 ($800,000 bal)
- I will give my parents $100,000 ($700,000 bal - I love my parents the same measure that i love GOD, ok)
- I will spend $200,000 on a car, go for a 6 months - 1 year break, living in another country, to experience another culture, such as Australia (i seriously miss the slow life in Perth, but it's way too slow though), New Zealand (Lush green land, and cows and sheep), USA (Never been there before, would like to experience snow if possible), China (well, hope to go to Hainan, which my parents are going next month, where my mama's mama came from), or England (IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF BECKHAM BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE FOOTBALL, Period! But to gain an eye-opening experience), and other places which i hasn't think of yet. ($500,000 Bal)
- Invest $200,000 into various shares and funds. $1 million is never enough. It won't last forever with prodigal living lah. So, might as well grow my money where it is, wisely. ($300,000 bal)
- I will want to invest some money into buying things such as; car (i don't have the chance to drive for now), education (studying and holidaying at the same time?), aesthetics (haha, yah.... slim down the slimming centre way, take away all the irritating freckles!! Superb fashion sense), nicer and bigger house, not to forget a Vist-enabled, WIFI latest edition laptop with the fastest speed, the best function handphone, with the latest digital cameras (yes, to satisfy the nacissism within me that's ever growing)
- Many other thoughts not tabulated in as yet.

*****
That's all i can think of. I took like 20 mins to draft this down. Pretty interesting. Seems like i love to laze and daze, a lot a lot a lot... and a dangerous spendthrift, aiyo, prodigal living *tsk tsk*

If u are reading this. try it!! I'm pretty amazed at what i wrote down.

Coming up in next entry
Food for thought: Imagine if you could write your eulogy, where it will be read for friends and relatives, what would you want them to remember you by.
