Dear everyone,
This is a short announcement from me, the owner of this blog.
I am currently in the midst of preparing for a change in this blog. This is in conjunction in my quest for change, which i have been in currently. Had a change of hair color and hair style (refer to previous entry), and now i have decided that i'm quite tired of the current blog skin, which belongs to blogger.
After all....
1) I have used this blogskin for about 2 years?!
2) Pink is not my favorite color
3) Change is always a constant in life. I need to improve myself. I need to cross over.
4) With this change, i am determined to pick up html coding, so that i can bring in new additions into my blog entries (besides just pictures - i'm going to learn to bring in slide shows, which i've managed to for my friendster)
5) Being in an IT interactive agency, i think it helps that i know a bit of html (yah, i've been 'advertising' certain brands and products even on my humble blog here), at least i know what i am doing and in line with what my company is doing. Got flow here!!!
Below will be the various stages that lead to the change:
1) Decision to change my blogskin
2) Choosing of my blogskins
a) The themes
b) What kind
c) Deciding on the blogskin
3) Downloading the textfile for the blogskin
a) Fill in the 'blanks'
b) Try not to miss out on the codings which a current html idiot (me) can really delete
c) Finalizing on the input
4) Inserting the codes into blogger template
5) Any Other Business
a) Adding of pictures, slide-shows
b) Changes required before final publishing
6) Publishing of blog entries with new blogskin - Target to completion by 22th April.
Wef today, i am currently in stage 3A. I'm quite fast already ok, half way through already. But at stage 3, It is really very crucial, so i'm going to take this quite slowly and carefully.
So everyone, please look forward to changes. It's going to be a refreshing change, just like what my new purple hair did for me.
