1st.... i mean 2nd movie of the year

As u guys know i'm no movie-junkie. I don't really watch a lot of movies. Though 2 years back, i wrote in here that i want to watch 1 movie per year. I did that in 2005, but in 2006, i've slacked. This year, well.... thought it's only 1, actually it's 2.

I remembered that i was invited by WY to go watch Andy Lau's "Battle of Wits". That one was FOC.... Man! The benefits of being a MediaCorper. Anyway, that show was quite good, i think it's M18. Yeah, that was my last movie.

And up to recently, there wasn't much good shows. And Transformers opened in Cinemas! I remembered when i was at Ah Ming and Ah Han's (my older cousins) house when i was young, i stayed over and played with them. At that time, Transformers are a big-big thing ok. Man! Though i dont' remember names, but i remember the red head and blue body. That is Optimus Prime. As for the baddies... i don't remember a single one. Only know as long as they change from a car to a robot, they are transformers.

Yesterday, i had the intention to watch movie, and told Ivy that i want to watch transformers. But, i think the men out there are really crazy about it, and wherever i try to look for seats, everywhere's sold out! I mean, i also wanted to watch Harry Potter. And yes, yesterday was the sneak preview, so i went with Ivy and Carrie to watch it.

MY thoughts on the show

Maybe it's me. But i think that the whole movie was so-so. I guess, because i have read the 5th book (Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix), so i'm kinda anticipating more stuff from the movie. Not to mention that this 5th instalment is the shortest movie so far, and the irony is that the book is the thickest of the 6 books out so far!

Overall, the movie generally depict Rowling's works.... just the last part: When did Harry Potter give the prophesy to Lucius Malfoy?! It was not stated in the book ok!!! And where's Quidditch?! Forget Dobby, but the sport is a cannot-miss one!!! It's a fixture in all the H.P movies!

The next praiseworthy thing is probably Umbridge. All decked in pink with the weird accent which irritates to the core. And u get a kick out of it when she was dragged into the forest by the human-horse (dun remember the name) when she offended them. The graphics are quite good, so well, if u really want me to rate:

Yes, i really owe a lot of entries by now.... Think there wont be a 3rd year anniversary special as i'm really caught out of time. But I promise my best that i'll do it for the 4th one (Whahahahaa.... wait another 12 months la). Upcoming ones will be my interesting read.
