KL Photoblog Entry #2

To continue the photoblog from where i left off the previous entry...

Ivy took me to the KLCC after work, where she accompanied me back to the hotel to put down my favorite burden, my Toshiba.

We first walked out to somewhere near to Lot 10, which is bigger than our Lot1 shopping centre definitely, and took the monorail (our Mrt).

It actually looked more liken to our LRT (U know the CCK and the Sengkang one). There are similarities and differences.

Similarities include: the hustle and bustle of the crowds, where people feel like sardines, the way the train is structured. where there are 2 compartments, oh there's commercial screens too.

Differences include: the many colors of the exterior of the cabin (whereas the singapore ones are really dull), the sitting arrangements of the chairs (which is not very space-saving), and the language used.

I took one stop on the monorail to Raja Chulan, which is near to office, and about a minute's ride from where i hopped on, which i dunno which stop is it. And we took a shortcut and we got near to the KL Convention Centre which linked to KLCC.

When we are nearing KLCC, we need to cross the road, as the convention centre is quite a distance from KLCC (something like the distance from the City Hall Mrt to Suntec Convention Centre). And i saw a nice view of KLCC Live, not from my hotel window.

Really nice. It's a wonderful feeling, as it's surreal of me, really being in Kuala Lumpur, not in comfy Singapore. Just like u see the Merlion in Singapore, the Petronas Twin towers are a sign that you are in Kuala Lumpur.

We had dinner at the Penang Kafe where we ate good food and had really different and very delicious Ice-Kacang with peanuts on top of it. This is not found in Singapore, definitely.

Interior of KLCC

I was very awe-struck by the structure itself, and after i took these 2 photos, i saw a plaque that says 'No pictures'. *Shrugs.

I took this bottom-up. U can see the pointed top. Very majestic, i was kinda awe-struck. Btw, the top floor is according to Ivy, the Science Centre! Wha, in the middle of all the shopping, there's a science Centre (purple color neon lights). Amazing huh =)

Ok this i think is the lift that leads up to the top. Very nice for a lift huh =)

KLCC Fountain

Then we went to the KLCC Fountain where i took some nice pictures of the fountain. Man, i love my SE850I. =)

I think these 2 pictures make good postcards =)

That's me posing by the fountain. Dank! I look fat!!! And... my makeup's all gone. But nevertheless, the fountain's real pretty.

Ok, that's me outside by the Fountain, wanting to pose with the KLCC sign. But the lighting spoils everything. I couldn't really adjust it. But, it shows i've stepped foot in KLCC ok =)

Home Sweet Home

On Saturday morning, Boss picked me up at 10.30am at the Hotel, where he obtained directions on driving towards Johor Bahru and back to Singapore. Took this while waiting for Boss to show up.

Being again in the car for the next 3.5 to 4 hours, besides re-flipping my 8 days and play PSP (Sheeze, i brought out the wrong adaptor, so i couldn't charge it *_*), i started entertaining myself by snapping pictures-aka-self-love =) I love this picture because my eyes (finally) looked normal with nice almond shape. Haiz, wish i could photoshop and i'll make myself slimmer and no eye-bags... Hahahahaha.....

This is my new shades. I got it at Sungei Wang at RM25 (Equivalent to est SGD 12-13), which is really worth every single centre for it's sleek design.

This is me without my shades, which became my stand-by hairband. I have really fair skin, because i applied lotsa concealer, ok!! The only thing i feel bothered by this picture is that it shows my big-small eyes. -__-"'

And in that past few hours, we passed by lotsa trees....

Ok, this is one of the nicer trees that i've taken. But it's something like that lah.

I've got a special treat for u all. I've take pictures of clouds. Here they are.

Clouds Number 1

Clouds Number 2

Clouds Number 3 [My personal favorite - Got a cloud in the shape of a flower in the middle of it =) ]

*****
Well, this sums up what the KL Photoblog is about. Well, it's a trip that's very different for me, sometimes it didn't feel real, at times. But i feel that this trip has made me to be a better person. U know, when you are working overseas, you are more aware of things around you, you are more responsible towards yourself, and others. Like, i ensure that i reach hotel room at 9pm, make sure that all my gadgets are packed properly before i leave the hotel etc etc etc. It's really great, and i'm glad to be able to make the trip.

Work wise, it made me understand what i am really doing, because u see the real McCoy. Last time i coordinate work from Singapore, but i totally cannot relate to it. But i see everything that i've coordinate, and i can properly know what are the difficulties and it better my work abilities to get things done better.

I am looking forward to the next trip, definitely. But i know that i'll enjoy working la, more than the shopping =)

I'm going to post pictures that i've taken via my laptop where Pst Phil was drawing the 12 Disciples last saturday. I was just randomly taking pictures, but i didn't have the full picture on hand, but i have the work-in-progress pictures. Wow-wow-wow!!!

Really glad that i've fulfilled my pledge for this month already. And one more week to Jurong West. =)
