Here Pst started with having some guys to assist with the background while he interacted with the congregation. Then he started to do some sketching of the people. This picture is showing the initiate part where he drew 2 figures.
Pst was at work, painting a few more of the disciples.
Here, was Pst drawing the legs of the disciples. Oh, i forgot, he was drawing out the 12 Disciples, at the Last Supper. So being specific about it, he had to have some emphasis on the legs too.
The painting is like 80% complete where all the disciples came out already, together with Jesus in the middle of the painting, in white.
Pst Phil was about 70% completing the artwork, drawing the table at the Last Supper.
It was quite a sight to be watching the man of God painting. Initially it didn't make any sense at all to have the background. And even with the sketching, i wondered aloud how this painting will end up being the pictures of the 12 Disciples.
Pst painted, not using a paint brush. He used paint, of course, but using this tool which i dunno what is that. It's a different way of painting. And the 'genre' of his paintings are quite abstract, but easily understood. U can see from the painting that the faces are not shown. There is an emphasis on colors and the texture, but features wise, it's different.
Very different, but nice.
Very amazing that such can come out so nicely, despite the fact that Pst is color blind. But God is good, despite that, he can still paint so well.
