KL Photoblog entry #1

I've left KL yesterday, with Boss at 10.30am and reached Singapore at est 3pm, due to the Tuas Checkpoint having jam. But overall it was a great adventure that i've experienced in the past 4 days. And thus, this starts my photoblog for my KL Trip. I will try to squeeze as much as i can in one entry, because i'm still concussed from the trip...

I took my first picture when i got back from dinner and shopping for necessities at Sungei Wang. It's really nice to know that though
Hotel Capitol is situated quite inside, or should i say, in the middle of the heart of the shopping paradise here, but it has a super nice view. Thank God for giving me a nice room on the 10th floor, where i get to take this picture from my hotel room.

Ok, u have to know that i've taken this photo from the comfort of my hotel room, and thus all the dirt u see in the picture are from the windows, probably after rain (good excuse huh).
This is how the surroundings of the hotel looked like.

On the left side are all the Indian food stores where i ate Roti Prata at one of the shops. At the corner of the building, that place is where there's a few things happening that i've observed: it can be a space for accomodating customers for buying food, and it was a space for foot massage (no kidding!!). On the right side of the road is BB Plaza, which is connected to Sungei Wang, which is facing in the picture. There's always a band that played music till wee hours of the night. And the songs that they sing are really jepalang one... got malay song, english song and chinese song. Amazing right? Well, i guess Boss doesn't like it for it bothers him much. I find it quite ok, because i laugh when they sing off-tune, which is a source of entertainment for me, being a night-owl. =)

And i feel really bless, because when i lay down on my queen size bed and was about to sleep, i realized that from that angle when i laid down, i can see the Petronas Twin Towers, even in the dark. It's so nice....

Yup this is the exact angle. Actually with my camera phone, it's a bit hard to see, so i did some alignment on the lightings so that you can see it better.

Oh, before i forget, i need to introduce the hotel room. Though it's a 3-star, i can guarantee you that it's really a very cozy place. It's not too big that it's scary, but everything's provided like, daily room service (that's the main thing i miss now, because i have to make my own bed for now =P )

The room has a small table, which is enough for me, with a table lamp and a electric outlet for me to charge my battery. That place is where i blog my entries in MS Word and upload when i'm in office.

The bed has 4 pillows, which i only utilized 2; one for my head and other played the part as my bolster.

The air-con is super cold, and i can survive without having the air-con on. That shows how powerful the air-con is. Toilet is very clean, and nice, but cold la due to the aircon.

More pictures of KL City

As u know, i take quite a lot of different pictures of the city from my room; here they are:

This is more accurate as a good picture, as the first one didn't show the Malaysia Flag. So yeah, this one was taken on my 2nd night in KL.

This is how it looked like in the day time. I'm sure you like the night view too. =)

I took this on the 2nd night. It was a cloudy night where i remembered that it was quite misty.

Petronas Towers looked misty from my hotel room the next day.....

Talking about the surroundings, after the nights of all the English, Malay and Chinese songs, the streets is very clean and quiet.

Very contrasting from the night time huh? Very tranquil. I think this will be a familiar sight during all the festivals, as no one will be working. So i guess, tourists shouldn't target to come during these times, what they see will only be this.

Journey to and fro office

This is taken when i was on the way to office on Friday. The pointed structure is the KL Tower, where there's a revolving restaurant. Heard that you can see the whole of KL from the towers. But i didn't have time to explore the shopping centres, let alone go there. The building that u see below the pointed KL tower structure is the See Hoy Chat (?!) Tower, which is just beside Menara Aik Hua where the office is, but it's hidden by this other building u see on the right. That's MCB Plaza.

And this was when i was quite far off from the office, where it was really cloudy. The KL Tower was barely in sight.

On my left is the dysfunc-KFC, which Boss identified for me for directions to office. Hmmm.. thinking about it, i need to update myself the next time i go to KL.

That's about it for my first part. Will update the rest tomorrow.

Look out for the pictures that Pst Phil came and drew for us during the service. I took some pictures from my laptop, the in-progress work. =)
