I did something silly today. Woke up at 7.30am and thought that i should get good breakfast. So i went to the cafe at the hotel, and decided to eat the buffet breakfast. It was quite funny actually. The waiter boy said that i could either pay RM27++ or get a breakfast coupon for RM18++. Of course, anyone with a right mind would definitely get a breakfast coupon at the reception la! Haha...
Silly because the breakfast is really quite so-so. Well it has the cornflakes and other things, like... spaghetti. Yah, spaghetti. Who eats spaghetti in the early morning?! What’s good is the ... hmmm. I can’t really remember what’s really good. Ah, as compared to Sunway Pyramid, it’s not very memorable.
I took a short walk to the office, knowing that i know my way around to the office, not like yesterday, lost and stuff like that. It’s a bit sad lah, that i’ve just figured my way out around KL and office, i’ll be going back. But, yeah, i definitely miss my family, my dogs (i missed hugging them.... dunno if these 2 silly babies will miss me or not =( ), church (oh yea, i might serve on sunday, doing directing), and cg members (sorry dudes, i didn’t really have much time to wonder, so didn’t really have time to get stuff for u guys. My colleagues said that what’s here, Sg also has it, which i do agree to some extent.
KokHui, Kanfong, Nicholas and Ivy took me out to lunch somewhere near to office, to eat Fried Kway Teow. Well, KH has been saying that the Kway Teow here and Singapore is very different, where the latter one is with sweet sauce. It’s the truth. And i’ve tried it, quite different from what we have here. And the herbal tea is not like Singapore one, it’s not black in colour; it’s a bit light yellow color, but well, a bit tasteless though.
After lunch, Boss took me on an adventure around the buildings on where to get stuff done, to the bank, where the 2nd part, i wondered around on my own. Well, my adventure began at Hong Leong Bank where i stood at the counter, questioning the poor counter girl who tried to answer my questions on opening a bank account. It’s really different talking to them over the phone and face-to-face. I made sure i asked all the relevant questions and get proper answers before i left. I think i stressed the counter lady big time... haha.
That building is called MPL Building, so getting back from there to office, i have to pass through a building where there’s a Herbal Life counter and back to office. Oh, that’s See Hoy Chay(?) building, i think. Menara Aik Hua is a 20th Storey building where our office is on the 7th Floor.
Let’s recap what i did today:
- Talk to the contractor to pull the lines, quote on the selves
- Make sure candidate turns up for the interview with Boss (Btw, he’s accepted the offer from us! Hooray!!!!)
- Talked to the guy from Time.com to get the lines activated
- Went to Public Bank (as usual, the staff are kinda blur blur ones... -__-“’)
- Did keys for office and attempted to find door stoppers but didn’t manage to find it.
Oh, and some of the time, KH’s helping me with the Bluetooth adaptor. And after work, i decided to get to Loy Yat Plaza (imagine the Sim Lim Square of Kuala Lumpur) and to change my Bluetooth that hasn’t worked. It ended up huh, that the version of the software is the outdated software (!!) Siao huh? But anyway, it managed to work. I tried it before i started on writing. So there will be pictures!!! Woohoo!!
I wondered around Sungei Wang a bit and got lost (again.....), but managed to get what i need, slippers (wondered and got lost and had blisters on my feet), and sunglasses ( i think i need to protect my eyes a bit, i think my astigmatism is getting a bit serious =( ). Seriously i don’t think i bought a lot of things, though i wished i had.
Had my first cup of Starbucks, and found the drink that i love: it’s Vanilla Latte!!! It’s so nice to find the drink ever since i last drank it during KL Emerge last year. But i know that it tastes differently in Singapore.
Tomorrow Boss is driving back to Singapore in the morning. 10am out of KL, so i guess the time u read this, i would have posted this by 5pm.
I’ll combine my photoblog entry with my afterthoughts, which is next entry. Urgh, hope my space on blogspot does not limit my bandwidth.

After note: I just reached Singapore at 3pm, but we kena jam at the Tuas Checkpoint. But nevertheless, i'm really glad to be home. Miss my family and friends and my dogs *love*. I will start posting pictures of KL. in my next entry. =)
