I rewarded myself for a good job well done for:
a) Doing passable for 'Welcome' for Mock cg test (It's an encouragement for me to do better tomorrow at Wisdom-aka-Offering and vision)
b) Finally finished with packing with my office cupboards (had a major shift YET again, from the east corner of the office to the west corner - trust me, u won't wanna go through that!)
c) Giving a good answer to my colleague who asked something in regards to the speaking in tongues and the Holy Spirit (Mr H, i hope this answer satisfys u well)
d) Not proscrastinating and zoom to Tecman at Bras Basah to get my '4th Dimension living in a 3 Dimensional living'. (Ah, i totally HEART Tecman! Woohoo!! Can't wait to finish my SFBH and start reading this book..... )
Oh anyway, i was walking towards City Hall to drop my cheque from e9, and i decided to eat there. And, the best place, is the 4th level food court.
I must say ah, the atmosphere there is totally so un-food junction. Now it's call THE FOOD PLACE. So it got itself a more nicer and atas name. And what comes with it, is definitely nice settings, and MUCH better food.
No pictures, but i STRONGLY recommend the first stall on your right hand side once u step into the food court. That's the one with the japanese so-call 'yong tau fu'. (Pardon me, but i need a sec to snigger at my own usage of words and slap myself awake.) I mean TEMPURA!! Fresh Tempura ingredients!
I had walked a full round through the foodcourt and decided to settle for Tenya's (that's the name of the stall) Japanese food. I must say, for a foodstall in a food court, the food's pretty good. Presentation of the food is comparable to the mainstream japanese restaurants (eh, cover your eyes that focuses on the beign color server tray), and the food is freshly cooked, where they will start picking the seafoods and vegs off the display (something like a typical yong tau fu display, but with fresh seafood, and lotsa ice).
Biting into my freshly fried scallop tempura, i felt blissful.
U should try it. There's a wide variety of options like ala-carte (choose your own fried veg/seafood), and at least 10 menus to choose from. Prices start from $4.90 onwards.
