To iTOUCH or not

Recently, i’ve been considering whether to get an iPOD or not.

For one, i have a Blackberry Gemini which i love to bits! I love it’s BBM, the way that it’s buttons and non touchscreen. And it’s a business phone. I love it!

I do have a machine for entertainment, which is PSP, which i purchased in November 2007 when i was working in my ex-company. Purchasing the PSP was kinda new to me then, cos people of my age (or older) did play with it as compared to NDS. It’s practical, cos i can watch videos on it, i can play games, and i currently use it to listen to music. Even though i do get really irritated when i put it into my bag and my song get ruffled up/fastfoward/whatever it could happen.

With the consistent and fast upgrading of technology, the PSP is starting to pass off  its novelty about 2 years later. For one, there’s no longer a supply of new games which my ex-colleague used to entice me from time to time with new games to download into my console.

Another disturbing fact: It’s getting a bit kiddish to be holding a bulky PSP while on the train. And i’m not that young anymore!! Seriously, PSP is starting to lose its hold over the adults! It’s like a humongous piece of plastic! Gahhhh…..

That said, i still like my PSP. The quality of the music is marvellous! Nothing less than what comes out of SONY! Video quality is definitely there, even though i don’t have any videos in my PSP for the longest time.

But with the change of the decade, everyone is moving on. Technology is STILL moving on, faster than ever, and so does toys for the adults.

You may ask: Why didn’t you buy the iPHONE then??? Cos i prefer a business phone. Blackberry is THE BESTEST Phone i could ever have purchased. And for someone who’s really particular about work and play, BB is the best for me. But of course, i also need some kind of updated entertainment. And i know that i already have a phone, i don’t need ANOTHER phone! I don’t need to join the ABC (Apple-Berry Club) with 2 phones.

iPHONE is practically an entertainment phone. And i have many frens who are just so addicted to their iPHONES. iTOUCH is totally different. It’s just simply an entertainment machine comprising of everything that iPHONE has, except maybe the socket for one to insert his SIM card and to make calls from it.


Gahhhhh!!!! I’m so contemplating to get myself an iTOUCH!

It’s a thin red line between wanting it and needing it. And the practical side of me is battling with the very impulsive side of me. 

Do i need an iTOUCH???

Do i want an iTOUCH??? Do i have the ability to own one???

These questions are starting to swim in my head.

As usual, i need to sit on it. Cause if the iPOD gets the better of me, it will be a burn of at least $470 to my bank account.
